Otami Ruins-

✻ Blaze (F9)- Speak with Blaze one screen to the left of the passage between Otami and Gold Beach.
------• She stands at F9 in the forest.
---o Around the Blood Tree- Go near the Blood Tree (F1/F2) and come back to Blaze alive. You can get dazed in between and still finish the quest.
------• Return to Blaze for your next mission.

---o Aiding the Twins- Go find the twins Rin and Lin in the cliffs of Otami. Use your PDA to find the passageway at A8.
------• Complete all of their tasks before returning to Blaze to find out where the Marshall is.



✻ Rin and Lin- Speak to the twins at the Otami cliffs, found in the passageway at A8.
---o Merit in the Eyes of the Spirits- Gain these items in this order: Kill the Feathered Coatl for a Tropical Bird Feather. Kill the Tiny Terror for a Spear Head. Kill the Bladed Vase for a Mace Head. Kill the Mask of Death and Rebirth for a Jewel Eye.
------• Return to the twins to get your new mission.

---o The Gauntlet-
------• The entrance to the gauntlet is at D4. There are feathered coatl's on the path to the statue that you have to kill. Once you get to the statue, it would be best to use as many buffs as possible (Good rings to have: Coyote Spirit, Fleet Feet, Iron Will, and My Density). After you touch the statue, you will have to get back to the entrance as fast as possible because there are now many high leveled Animated on the path. Use the buffs and run. It is better not to fight the Animated that appear.

---o The Stone Coatl-
------• Go to the Throne Room (B5) but beware of the Animated that spawn in front of it [there are a lot]. It is better to complete this with a full crew. Defeat all the warriors (you'll know that's over when all of the fire have gone out) and then Chaloc (the Stone Coatl) will fight you. More warriors will come out during the fight. This is a very hard mini-boss.



✻ Jerry- Speak to him at F10 in the forest.
---o Missing Mika- He wants you to find Mika, who is in the Otami cliffs. To find her, go back to Rin and Lin, and then take a right. She's on the very edge
------• Get her to agree to go back with you and then return to Jerry.

---o Returning Regular-
------• Jerry's brother, the Barton Regular Peter, has joined the True Believers and won't return. Go back to the True Believers (they're at the Null in Old Aqueduct) and speak to him. When he follows you, go down one screen to George who will bring him back for you.

The Giant Stone Coatl is the mini-boss in Otami Ruins. It sits on the left of the throne room, guarded by Masks of Death and Rebirth. All of the Animated in the room take the CL of the highest person in the group, so it helps to have a crew who is either all the same level, or caps to the same level. Whenever you defeat a section of the warriors they send out, a Mask of Death and Rebirth will battle you, and if you defeat it, a fire will go out.

The Stone Coatl has a lot of health points, and is immune to the rings Quicksand and Scaredy Cat. It will shoot lasers at you that do a lot of damage, but it will take a little bit of time in between to shoot again. It will also deflect some of your attacks, so hit it with everything you've got. The fireballs and lasers it shoots are short-range, so it is thought that it can't hit you if you use long ranged attacks and are standing at a distance, however you'll get attacked by minions. After the Coatl dies, all the minions die, so it helps if you just go for the Coatl...unless you're close to dying that is...

Stamina is a big problem. Buff up a lot.
