Hiro had walked up to Pride rock seeing as how the heartless got here before he did he already seen that the only place not covered with them was up at the top where the lions had been fighting them off. He jumped up landing quickly at the top of the rock as he said "Give in lions..." as he said this one attacked him and using his key blade he struck it quickly sending it off to the side of him a point of impact could be seen on the spot where its heart would be as darkness spread through it infecting it before finally taking its heart making it a sort of lion heartless that roared and began to infect many others as it slashed and the other heartless swarmed
the rock and that is when Hiro looked at his arm seeing that it was cut from the lions claws he shrugged it off and walked to the edge of the rock to see if he can see the key weilders.

He stopped and looked at all the lions on the ground, either dead or just barely alive. "You went to far..." he said gripping his paw against the ground.

Hiro looked to him his face hidden by his hood as he walked into the cave where as he did a beast roared from within it and from the cave a gaint Heartless that looked somewhat like a lion burst forth and roared making more and more heartless appear. This towering creature was 50ft tall and had much power as it jumped from the rock and landed in front of everyone that had come roaring once more as Heartless surrounded them.

He was pushed back by the roar of the giant beast. "Thanks for telling me that" he said looking up. He ran to it and sank his claws in its leg.

The lion had created a sheild of darkness over the entrance to the cave making it so no one could get any farther until it was beaten. It roared and stomped its paw sending a wave of darkness energy out in front of it towards the others threatening to send them flying along with burning them. As he did this its tail went over to Hunter and began to shoot darkness bolts at him. The normal heartless kept appearing and running at them threatening to scratch and cut them.

He climbed the great beast using his claws and eventually made it up. He grabbed his keyblade from his back and started smacking its back.
