Preface: Annelisé, a Russian ice dragon/human half-breed, is sent to the state of Arizona to live as punishment for revealing her true identity in the modern world...
It's summer,and Annelisé has to cope with the heat, and the fact that she's an outcast in this foreign country..But when a love interest can soon end her life, will she fight or die?

Annelisé closed her eyes as she felt the sun's warmth fall upon her.Summer. She dreaded that word entirely all too much.Maybe it was her Russian heritage that made her hate the warmth,the swarms of people,or the obnoxious glare of the sun. Although the list could go on and on, she hated summer... ☼☼☼Annelisé sat in the bed of an apartment that she'd been living in for the past few months now. The air conditioner was on full blast....but it only read 70 degrees..."This state is so hot..."she said wiping a drop of sweat from her forehead with her finger. She pulled out a journal from underneath her pillow. She took a pen,and began her daily ritual:
Day 57, June 16, 2010...
Today is yet another hot day in this state...Temperatures are soaring over 100 degrees...I can't take this anymore...I haven't stretched out my wings in over a month...i've been cooped up in this building until night time. And it's barely cool enough then...Sigh. Ice dragons do NOT belong in Arizona.Well diary, I guess this is it for today...

Annelisé's pearl eyes scanned for a shady spot near the water front. She was swimming today, and nobody, not even the humans would stop her...
