Here's another topic that might be good to discuss. Pachislot Akumajo Dracula is a Japanese slot machine game that is set after CoD. It stars Trevor Belmont who is aided by Angela, a dancer who revives Trevor back to life if he falls in battle and seems to possess other magical abilities. The enemies seem to be the usual run: Dracula, Zead, Succubus, Medusa, Skeletons and even Isaac who seems to have survived the events of CoD. Saint Germain also puts in an appearance.
Here's some trailers anyway:

It is a shame that it has never released outside of Japan. This may be an eccentric idea but even though it is essentially a gambling game for a parlour machine perhaps the game mechanics can one day be applied to PSP controls. It would be interesting to see that type of game on a handheld platform.

Lord Dracula Tepes Aren't their a lot of Castlevania games that have not be released in the outside of Japan Not really. The games are all named differently, depending on where you play them; for example, Symphony of the Night is known as Nocturne in the Moonlight in Japan...Aria of Sorrow is Minuet of Dawn, etc. There are some very small and subtle differences though...most of the U.S. released games have alot of the gore and religious imagery toned down. For example, in Super Castlevania 4, the green slime in level 8 of the American release is blood in the Japanese version. Also, in level 6 of the same game, the statues are naked in Japan, while in America they wear togas.

I dunno, I guess they just like having their fancier sounding names.
