On May 19th, I will get to see the man who changed my perspective of the world, Billie Joe Armstrong. Green Day is coming to NYC, and I've been given permission to attend their performance. There is no doubt that this had made me ecstatic.

I bought American Idiot, and the words you sang, changed me. I connected to every song in one way or another, I knew that life was going to get better, so I held on. I thank you every day for keeping me alive.
I understand you're only human, a normal 38 year old man, but it's deeper than that. You've taught me things no one else dares to speak of. You made me think, you made me ask questions and refuse when I didn't agree.
No matter what you choose to do in your life, I'll always support you.
