Post paintings, photos etc here that you've made yourself for spiritual purposes.

This is a Goddess figure I carved for a friend's altar.

These next two aren't exactly for spiritual purposes but they do seem very pagany to me. Though I didn't think about that until after the painting was done. They are the concept drawing and finished painting for a self-portrait project for a figure painting class. The concept was out of my head and has a more fey creature feeling. The painting is actually fairly accurate to what I look like. Minus the horns of course.

Just a simple little pentacle I made out of wire and string with some fake ivy around it to go on my wall.

Drawing I did recently of Sophia. I colored her purple to give a royal and ethereal appearance.

Every one's been saying that XD.

I just don't have the practice of drawing nipples so I excluded them. Also leaving off nipples is an easy way to elude censors.

Ah xd Alright then. It's very nice. Could you explain the meaning of the triangles on the crown?

It's the Attic numeral for 10There are 3 triangles because she's the 30th emanation of the God in Gnosticism.

A few passages I had in mind when I made this.

"Some are afraid lest they rise naked. Because of this they wish to rise in the flesh, and they do not know that it is those who wear the flesh who are naked. It is those who [...] to unclothe themselves who are not naked" - Gospel of Philip

"Jesus took them all by stealth, for he did not appear as he was, but in the manner in which they would be able to see him. He appeared to them all. He appeared to the great as great. He appeared to the small as small. He appeared to the angels as an angel, and to men as a man. Because of this, his word hid itself from everyone. Some indeed saw him, thinking that they were seeing themselves, but when he appeared to his disciples in glory on the mount, he was not small. He became great, but he made the disciples great, that they might be able to see him in his greatness. " - Gospel of Philip

" “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn

“‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’"
Matthew 10: 34-36

" The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. " - John 1:9-13

I colored his skin purplish to give a royal and ethereal appearance. He's carrying a sword to "cut" away at the things that keeps those he's seeking to rescue trapped. He carrying a light to help those seeking to see through the darkness. The sword has a fish at the end since this sword has wisdom guiding it. A fish is a classic symbol of Gnosis within the Gnostic symbolism. His lack of a face shows how Christ doesn't have a "fixed" appearance, Truth will always be truth, no matter what form it takes. The masks he's walking by symbolizes the various false faces that exists in the world. They are the images that are projected and can be assumed. Finally his nakedness expresses how he is revealed when he finally recognized.

If sewing is considered art, I can post a picture of a pillow I sewed for a friend. Also, if my friend does not mind, I could post pictures of some of the things she's drawn. They are quite amazing.
I need to make more things, though. I would love to do that and post them on here to see if you guys like them. :]
