Erica has been an only child for 5 years, until her brother, Tyler, came in '96. She was an A, if not A+, student at all of her schools, her brother, not too much. She didn't have much interaction with boys, as she didn't want that distracting her studies. She finished college at 22 with great grades and already tried to get her dream job, a doctor or a nurse. Unfortunately, her family couldn't afford medical school, even if she could get a scholarship. Erica had to wait for awhile before she could have her perfect life. She decided to work at her local newspaper and over her year working there, became an Investigative Journalist. She was okay with her job, finding out more about what has happened around the city, and getting the money to attend medical school. She was assigned to try and get the scoop on the case of the murders that have happened over the years. She took this immediately, knowing that if she was able to get the scoop on, maybe even solve, the case, then she would get a huge raise and finally attend medical school.
Her brother, Tyler, has a little problem that might get in the way of this case, though. Tyler had sleeping disorders ever since he was 10. Tyler had medication to help him sleep, but nothing to help the dreams go away when he was awake. during the past few months, Tyler was able to sleep very well, and even be okay during the day. Erica didn't think too much of it, that was until he started having the sleep disorders again. Erica was really worried about Tyler and decided to try and help him, even if it did get in the way of the case. Although, Tyler didn't want to hold Erica back, so he pushes away her help and stays away from her. That makes her worry more, but what should she do?
