"Okay is it true that vampires burn in the sunlight?" i asked. " yes it is true

but there are ways to stop it." he replied with a look of interest on his

beautiful face."how?" i asked feeling left in the dark. he smiled and replied "i

shall in lighten you on what it is and how we found it." " what we use to

protect is from the sunlight is a french plant called Fenouil or in English

Fennel." "yes i have heard of it" i replied. " the plants name means strength,

it strengthens our skin to fight against the sun.." " Our ancestors found this

plant back in the seventeen hundreds, it was thought to enhance there

amazing en-human strength." "but one vampire thought differently so he

experimented one day by walking in daylight and found that his theory was

correct, the plant didn't enhance strength it enhanced there skin." "that is

outrageously cool" i bellowed out like a bumbling idiot. he chuckled "yes

ended" he said with that silky voice i love. "how did it protect him, i mean

how does it protect us?" i asked in curiosity. he smiled and pulled something

out from underneath his shirt. it was a silver necklace with a purplish color

in the center surrounded by entwined pieces of silver. "its beautiful" i said

mesmerized by the necklace. " not as beautiful as you my beloved." he said

his eyes filling with compassion for me. " so you put the Fenouil in a

necklace." "yes that is right" he answered still his eyes havering that

compassion in them. " is it true that we can be killed by wooden stakes." i

watched his face when i said this his face glowed when i said we. He

laughed out loud"no my dear nothing can harm us but our own thoughts

and feelings, not holy water of fire or anything else in the myths you have

heard." i smiled and nodded thinking how lucky i was to be invincible. "are

there anymore questions you have about your new way of life" he asked his

face still glowing. "only one, do we have to drink the blood or only humans

to survive." " sadly my love yes that is the only way for us to survive but

there are other ways to did it without killing the humans, only the most

gruesome and black-hearted vampires kill there victims." Ambrosie will you

teach me how to not harm the humans." "of course i would, i wouldn't even

dream of letting you become a black-hearted vampire" "i smiled and layed

my head on his shoulder and whispered in his ear" i love you Ambrosie"

i looked up at him into his beautiful eyes and i saw more then heard him say

"i love you to." i smile i believe this was the happiest i had ever been in my

life. H explained to me the rules of the vampire world and how that if i broke

these rules that there could be severe consequences. one of the rules was

that you could not change a human unless you had specific permission by

the "counsel" god lord i thought to myself to think i thought i hated

rules before. then i heard him chuckle again. rats i forgot he could hear

me. then i got to thinking again not really but in a way. then i said what

about my family i suddenly blurted out. he sighed and wrapped his arms

around me."that my dear is another thing about our life style they cannot

know about us there for you must leave them behind." i felt my heart

shatter to bits and pieces how could i live i without my parents, brother,and

my twin sister. i guess he heard me because he said you could leave them

a note that simply states that you are going away and wont be coming back

for a long time." my heart filed with hope maybe one day i could come

back. "yes actually you could come back but only after you have control,

right now if you saw one of your family members you could kill them

because its just our nature." " oh i see no i dont want that i understand." he

grabbed me in his arms and spoke so softly and in that beautiful french

accent of his i could have sworn i was hearing a angel."oh mon'cherrie im

so sorry." im so glad i took french in school i knew exactly what he had said

oh gosh it sounded beautiful. i saw him smile "you know french." he almost

asked. "yes a little" "did you understand what i said?" " yes as a matter of

fact i did."i answered


"you said my dear,sweetheart." "very good im impressed." he announced

grinning. "you will find out my darling that i learn quickly." " oh really." he

said his eye brows raised. i smiled as my lips touched his,so soft as if i was

kissing a cloud.
