I know of a wonderful community of people who offer their used items for free. It's called http://www.FreeCycle.Org

You can post items you want to get rid of, and look through other postings and maybe score a new-to-you item you've been needing or wanting. It's all about FREE, no buying or selling allowed! reduce, Reuse, and Freecycle! ^_^ This is a yahoo group so to sign up or log in you will need a yahoo account. Which is also free.

We have a pagan recycle here, its done by the local pagan store, I try that first, then go to free cycle. Its so cool. there have been times when I thought nobody would want my junk, but I try anyway and it feels so good when somebody can use it instead of it going to landfill. There have been a couple of times when I asked for things I thought nobody would have and they were happy to get rid of their junk too.
