Okay, so my boy friend is a nerd (Shh, I know I'm a nerd, too.) and he's always liked Doctor Who. I watch it with him and while I liked it a lot it just didn't hook me. Tennant made an amazing Doctor and we all dissed the new comer and were grumpy about the change until I saw the first damn episode.
I ADORE this new Doctor. He's amazing! He's frustrated and angry and I think he's great. Also he says some really funny stuff.... a lot. His comment on bow ties, and the thing he said in the Angels episode to Amy. It was something like, "Of course you're scared; you're dying--Shut up!" Also, these episodes make me feel feelings and care and worry. That and the whole he was like her imaginary friend that came back to whisk her away touched me.
I think I'm hooked.
Aaron told me that everyone "has their own Doctor" as in everyone will have a Doctor that is perfect for them. I found my Doctor.
So, open for discussion: Do you have a favorite Doctor? How do you feel about the new one? Any favorite episodes or anything?

I actually hate him. Cannot stand him, at all. He has the occasional merit, but he has turned me off of it.
Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) surprisingly, is the only saving grace at the moment.
I am not enthralled, and it does not help that my last favourite writer had taken the fore this time because RTD left.
All in all - Torchwood had BETTER be good. It should be good, as the rumoured cast, or at least one, is very good.
Give me back my Tennant. D=

Aw, poor Becki-face! I'm sorry you don't like the new Doctor. Tennant was amazing, though; I agree there! I do like Amy Pond, thought. She's all catty and adorable. smile
I haven't watched Torchwood in a while, though. How is it recently?

Still waiting on the new series. Comes out after Doctor Who usually.
But yes. Don't like him. And his face looked like a six year old tried to construct it with glue and a scalpel.

You, literally, made me laugh out loud just now. Before we grew to like him we were like "Where are his eye brows? Stupid new Doctor with his stupid no-eyebrows." XD

Bwa ha ha ha! He has this odd charm to me, but when I look at his face sometimes I can pick out so many weird flaws. lol Like his chin/jawline and his lack of eye brows. I'm not much better, though, my eye brows are very light, too. lol

David was my favorite, and i will love the 10th
I had my doubts with Matt (because yes... his face does look very strange..) but the doctor is more about attitude than looks (david was so cute DX) and Matt did not disappoint me in his behavior.
I completely approve the new companion.
and also cant wait to see new Torchwood~

I don't know how I missed this thread....
Anywho...
David is my favorite.
Though the last few episodes made me like the newest one.
When it comes to the girls, Martha was my favorite. Amy was kind of a hoe when he first met her (couldn't make up her damn mind, pulling the poor boys around like that, and I never liked the first one....so much so that I can't even remember her name.)
David made me cry in one of the movies where it ended with him changing and crying saying "But I don't want to go".
David Tenant, is by far, my favorite. Followed by the one before him, and then Matt is in third.
