This is Colonel William Stryker's hidden base in New York's Central Park, where he experiments on mutants to 'learn' their powers. If their powers are useful, he attempts to weaponize them. STRYKER'S PERSONAL LAB-->  MAIN LAB-->  TUNNEL-->

elaise woke up strapped down to a table in a small lab. iv lines were coming from her arms and she could feel someone's hand on her head. where am i? what's going on? she thought when she heard the sound of equipment beeping around her.

"Ah... you're finally awake; your abilities are interesting, though not very useful. The telepathy I can use, but the other 'talents' I will not need," Colonel William Stryker said with a faint smile, as if to comfort the white haired girl.

golden-priestess2 (( elaise has white hair. smile )) " what do you want with me?" she murmered looking up at him, she shuddered slightly when she felt his emotions. William Stryker smiled slightly. "To know what mutants would be useful to the United States and dispose of those who would tear this country apart through terrorism; your abilities would assist me in that," he said quietly.

" i'm not going to let you dispose of other mutants." she said attacking him with her mind. At once her vision blurred as she felt the attack reflect back on her almost knocking her out. " what did you do to me?"

Stryker moved a few feet away, never taking his eyes off of her. "My scientists fitted you with a special helmet designed to block all mental based attacks , which is to mean telepathy, telekinesis and other psionic based attacks," the Colonel said quietly, a faint smile on his face. Seems my information was correct, he thought. She will not be able to contact anyone without the sensors picking up on it nor will her 'friends' be coming here as this base is hidden thirty feet underground, he thought.

golden-priestess2 elaise focused on his mind again, she winced slightly from the pain as she heard his thoughts about her friends " you don't know everything about my friends they'l come without you knowing. you'l regret ever taking me." she said glaring at him again as she spoke. Stryker seemed disinterested in anything she had to say. "Unlikely; there are more than enough cameras to watch for any attempt to enter this base and it is well hidden from the public," he said with confidence.

elaise glared at him again before closing her eyes as pain swept through her mind again, this time it wasn't coming from her but some one else in the lab. " who else have you got locked away here?" she murmered more to herself than him.

Stryker flicked a hand, uninterested in answering. "A girl with unusual light manipulation abilities," was all he said.

elaise sighed and closed trying to focus on the mind of the other girl, she could feel that her necklace was still hung around her neck and smiled slightly. she reached out towards the other girls presence sensing her pain.

Stryker nodded slightly to a subordinate, who twisted a knob. He looked through a one way glass at the other girl they had captured. "Blaire, Alison; seems to be able to manipulate light at will in varied ways," the subordinate muttered. Stryker nodded slightly. The girl's struggles increased as they sent electrical shocks through the girl's body, then flicked lights on and off for a few seconds after each jolt. Damn these soldiers!! I didn't do anything to deserve this!! Alison screamed in her mind, unaware she wasn't alone anymore and unaware why she was being treated like this, like some kind of experiment.

elaise felt alisons pain and gasped hearing the womens voice in her mind. alison? is that you? hold on they'l get us out of here. she shuddered again as she shared the other girls pain taking some of it from here to lessen it.
