What game they are from: FF VII / FF 7
Personality: Aeris is a sweet girl. She's got a giant heart of gold and likes helping others. Her dream was to cover Midgar in flowers. She cares deeply about her friends and enjoys making new ones.
Quick Bio: Aeris is an Ancient, the last of her kind. She lived in Midgar all her life. After her real Mother escaped the shinra building with her; Aeris lived in the Sector 5 slums; hiding from Shinra. She met Zack when he fell through the roof of the church where she tends flowers. They bonded instantly and quickly became "more than" friends. She was constantly watched by the turks her whole life.
After Zack's death she meets Cloud; in the same manner she met zack in. He fell through the roof of the church. not long after she meets cloud she's captured by shinra. Cloud mounts a rescue mission and manages to free her. They (cloud, aeris, barrett, tifa and red XIII) leave midgar and go on a journey to save the planet from Sephiroth. During the journey Sephiroth kills her by stabbing her from behind; through the gut. (effectively turning her into an aeris-Kabob).
despite being dead Aeris continued to protect the planet (from the lifestream) and support her friends. She appears to cloud durning the events of Advent Children and supplies mental support and a cure for Geo-stigma. Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo refer to her as "mother" after cloud defeats Sephiroth-possessed Kadaj.

Personality: Yuna is a fun and free-spirited girl from Spira. She is very responsible in that she takes her duty's seriously. She is devoted and passionate. The type of person you can place your trust in. She is well respected in Spira for bringing the Eternal Calm. She enjoys having fun and making friends.
Quick Bio: The daughter of a High Summoner Yuna decided to follow that path. She met Tidus just after successfully becoming a summoner. She went on the Summoner's pilgrimage across Spira gathering Aeon's for the Final summoning. Along the way she gathered more guardians; killed Maester Seymour; and fell in love with Tidus. After they reached Zanarkand they found out the truth behind the Final Summoning. Unwilling to continue the cycle of Sin Yuna refused to comply. Because of this she was able to defeat Sin completely brining the Eternal Calm and being named High Summoner. However; with the fayth gone Tidus vanished as he was nothing more than their dream.
X-2 starts with Yuna finding a Sphere of someone who looks like Tidus. She traveled around trying to unravel the mystery of the sphere in her desire to see her love again. Durning her journey Yuna stopped a civil war with song and defeated Vegnagun; a war machine that (oddly enough) is run via Organ music. After killing the Tidus imposter from the sphere Yuna is finally reunited with her lost love, Tidus.

Personality:Gau is a young and carefree child. Growing up alone in the Veldt wild, his speech and manners are below normal. He is innocent and knows little of the world.
Quick Bio: Soon after birth and the death of his mother, Gau's father abandoned the child in the wild. For the next 13 years, he survived and grew up in the Veldt with the monsters. Upon meeting-and getting feed by-Sabin and Cyan, the wild child decides to repay them by giving them his treasure and traveling with them. He then continues traveling with the group to help stop the Empire and its evil deeds. When Kefka disrupts the balance of the three goddess statues and causes the world to go into ruin, the group is separated. When the others visit the Veldt, there Gau is, waiting for them. Eventually, Gau and his friends find his father. Sadly, his father doesn't recognize him and refuses to believe that Gau was the 'demon' child he threw out. Gau doesn't care, he was happy that his father was alive. Eventually, the group take down Kefka and restores peace to the world.
