All the pairings I like are far from canon.
I can't like a pairing that actually likes eachother romantically.
I tend to pair up two random cute girls from every show/movie/book I start to like, even if they are far from canon.
So heres the question. Do you prefer canon pairings or non-canon pairings?

The closest I ever got to canon yuri was Alice and the White Queen from Alice In Wonderland. And yes, you are correct. I dont like to brag, but Yuri fandom DOES need people like me to give us more adorable pairings to squee over. I have a list of all my favorite yuri pairings on my profile. Not one of them is even close to canon except Alice and the white queen from alice in wonderland.

Oh, the heck with it.
The pairings I like have NO slash scenes, thats how I like it.

Someone can say "Sam, why do you like that yuri pairing?" and I will say "I like it BECAUSE they are straight and they have boyfriends"

Any yuri pairing is junk if the two girls aren't straight and have boyfriends. But thats my opinion. Canon makes me go out of my mind. I feel like im going to pull my hair out everytime I see two anime girls kissing who actually have a romantic relationship in the actual fandom.

Agreed. Even though thats an old pairing.

I only like one canon pairing, Reo and Mai from Sono Hanibira or whatever the heck its called...Its a new pairing I think is cute.
