All of the planes of Magic the Gathering are set in an infinite space known as the Multiverse. This place, as a whole, is also known as Dominia. Each plane is a parallel universe to the others, each with it's own denizens, histories, races, and natural forces. Within the card game, these are often differentiated by set/block mechanics. Since 2002, with the advent of Mirrodin, each block has visited a new plane in the Multiverse.
Each individual plane is it's own universe, touted as having one mana-rich planet (sharing the name of the plane) on which the plane's life can flourish. Planes can be natural or artificial (often created by planeswalkers as temporary refuges or battlegrounds).
The vast space between planes is known as the Æther, or the Bind Eternities by planeswalkers.
The Planes: *Settings of sets/blocks the Magic the Gathering TCG
Alara* Arkhos Azoria Bolas' Meditation Realm Dominaria/Song of Dominia* Equilor Gastal Iquatana Ir Kaldheim Kamigawa* Lorwyn/Shadowmoor* Mercadia* Mirrodin* Moag Muraganda Phyrexia Pyrulea Rath* Ravnica* Rabiah the Infinite* Segovia Serra's Realm Shalandar Ulgrotha* Valla Wildfire Zendikar*
In this thread, I will talk of the smaller planes (the ones not in the poll). Each of the larger planes will (eventually) have their own thread, which I will link to this one.
If anyone finds out any more general information (I'm not trying to write a novel or anything about each one) about these planes, please tell me so I can add it to the section about the plane.

~Arkhos~ A strange and dreamlike plane that plays with a traveller's memories, Arkhos is avoided by most planeswalkers. Strangely, though, some actually seek it out in order to forget. Featured on: River of Tears Lethe Lake

~Azoria~ A mysterious and barely mentioned plane that was caught in the bubble of planes centered around the Song of Dominia known as the Shard of Twelve Worlds, which was created as a result of the Brother's War on Dominaria. Multiple planeswalkers ended up trapped in the Shard. Eventually the planeswalker Freyalise freed Azoria and the other trapped planes from the shard, which opened the plane up for planeswalking once again. The wilder/planeswalker Ravidel, a warmage, hails from Azoria.

~Equilor~ Equilor is the farthest and eldest plane in the Miltiverse, said to be on the "edge of time". It's inhabitants have hoarded all the knowledge of the multiverse. The planeswalker Urza visits here to obtain information on the Phyrexian invasion, but the elders of Equilor refuse to grant him much information, as the ambitions of the Phyrexians were supposedly of very little consequence for the Multiverse as a whole. ~Iquatana~ A moon-like world where most of the atmosphere is Æther and creatures shift form at a whim, Iquatana is considered by planeswalkers to be on of the best places in the Multiverse for large summons. The Iquati, the plane's intellegent race, created glowing, jellyfish-like narcomoebas to store their memories by some mysterious sundering. Featured on: Narcomoeba The Æther Flues

~Mercadia~ A diverse plane known for it's major city, Mercadia City, which is perched on an inverted mountain. It is a mecca of trade and commerce across the Multiverse...if it can't be had in Mercadia, it's not for sale anywhere. Merchants are known for their hard bargains and talent for obtaining a profit. One must keep care of their coin purse here! Mercadia has human, minotaur, and goblin populations within the city, dryads and a rebellious, seemingly tribal human group known as the Cho-Arrim (led by Cho Manno) reside in the forest, and merfolk who live in the nation of Saprazza under the waves. The city itself is known for it's bureaucracy and greed. Featured on: All cards of the Mercadian Masques set. Mercadia City's cliffside market

~Phyrexia~ An artificial plane created by a dragon-shaped planeswalker, the unnamed plane was obtained by the Thran physician Yawgmoth as a place to recover from and find a cure for Phthisis- a horrible, wasting disease ravaging the Thran capitol of Halcyon. It was he and his planeswalker companion Dyfed that named it Phyrexia. After many years, a war broke out between the Thran and those living the plane. At the end of this war, Phyrexia became closed off from Dominaria...an isolation that ended 5,000 years later, and catalyzed the Brother's War. During that time, the plane had been growing increasingly unstable (as all artificial planes eventually did). It had also been rearranged into the popular vision of Phyrexia, nine spheres, often called he Nine Hells. Yawgmoth (called the Father of Machines) and his followers, now horrors (agents, carriers, constructs, engines) made partially of artifice, a new home. He planned to invade and conquer Dominaria. To prevent this, nine planeswalkers known as the Nine Titans entered Phyrexia to destroy it, and were only partially successful. It took the Legacy Weapon to finally destroy Yawgmoth. It is suggested, however, that Yawgmoth and Phyrexia still exist, but it a crippled state. In fact, agents of Phyrexia are now attacking Mirrodin, to rearrange the metallic plane in their own image. ~Rabiah the Infinite~ Rabiah is an Arabian-inspired desert plane that, long ago, 'refracted' into 1001 parallel planes, each following the same days and seasons, but with it's own version of each individual. Occasionally, the planes collide with each other, creating massive desert twisters that can transport individuals from one version Rabiah to another. The cluster of planes themselves wander ceaselessly throughout the Multiverse, making them notoriously difficult for planeswalkers to locate. When traveling to Rabiah, keep a weather eye on the bazaars found in most of the large cities. Items from other planes, known locally as Scheherazade's gifts appear to those who need them most. Rabiah is populated by humans, djinn, efreet (of Serendib), and bird-maidens. It is also the home of planeswalkers Taysir and Fatima. Featured on: All cards of the Arabian Nights set. The Sea of Sand
