I have alot to say about the above topics, I was stationed in japan for almost 4 years, my wife is japanese, and I have been to 25 different japanese castles, and have seen alot of Historical Sites and learned alot of japanese history from it. If any cares to talk more about it, please just reply, and I will talk every chance I get about those things. biggrin

I would love to hear about all of it. I've visited temples and the old Shogun's and Emporer's palaces, but not any of the historical sites, really, so I would love to hear more about any and all of them. ^_^

Well, I really dont even know where to begin. Well, I will just start talking about the Grave of the First Hattori Hanzo, I was not even aware that there was such a place, but my wife and father in law did a bit of research, and took me to the place, it was a pretty small temple in the outskirts of Tokyo, I forget the name of the temple, but it has a little sign right next to the grave and tells a bit about him in japanese. Also inside this temple is the Spear that Tokugawa Ieyasu gave to him as an Omiage (gift), part of the handle was burned in a battle somewhere along the line. but the spear itself was more than 400 years old. It was still in pretty damned good shape for being that old. I learned that day that the Name Hattori Hanzo was a title more than a name, and was past from the first to his son, and so on and so forth. But the grave was of the first Hanzo. Well, I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have, and I will tell you more about anything else that you might be interested in, just ask. All of the Poll Options are things that I have witnessed first hand. ninja
