But it's been uberly awkward just finding somewhere to put this. I wanted to do a less formal introduction while inviting more people here to simply be well, themselves. It's..more of me talking to myself until someone joins, so..please, don't make me look weird. Rofl.
I'm absolutely dreading SAT this Saturday, then AP Exams for the next two weeks. And it's not because I think I won't do well, I just..bleh. Formal tests blow.
Umm..I love to read. Seriously, I'd read all the time if I probably wouldn't go blind. Plus I get to those uber intense parts in books, and I simply have to put it down. It's too bad. Lol.
And I'm completely dreading the whole college application process thing. Why can't colleges all want the same list of things? One wants SAT Subject tests, all these recommendations, etc. While another all they want are SAT and AP scores, along with an application.
Bleh. Sorry.

ehh dont even get me started on school. i'm currently at my tech school for the navy. my job is an electrician on a nuclear reactor. specifically for me i'll be on submarines. well here's how our school works. you have to be in the building at 0645(yeah i'm gonna use military time). classes start at 0730. they technically end at 1550 but we have lunch at 1210 to 1305 and my instructor is normally done teaching before lunch. but we still have to sit there and study. then i have like 3 to 4 hours of required studying i have to do anytime from 1550 to 2400.i normally do those hours immediately after school so i dont leave till like 1900 or 2000. then i go to sleep at 2200 only to wake up for school again at like 0430 or 0530 depending on if we have PT(physical training. its working out or sport-type stuff).
the study hours are expressed in two numbers. the first number is required hours for the week and the second number is required hours for each night preceding a school day. so right now i'm on 20-3's. so i have to do 20 hours each week but every night i have to do 3.
its crazy sometimes.

Diacara Wow. Forced devotion. Lol. But I bet it helps, doesn't it? you'd think that wouldnt you? but not always. i knew a girl who was put on 25-4's for failing a test and she still failed two more tests

What grade are you in? I'm taking AP classes too. I feel your pain. I keep on forgetting what days i'm taking my exams in the next two weeks. I signed up for the SAT but i forgot wether i chose the SAT reasoning or SAT subject. I still need to sign up for ACT too. It wasn't available yet though when i signed up for my SAT.
I know this is really bad, but in books where there is any sort of romance involved... i'll get so curious i just cant help myself whee I will have to skip to later on in the book to find out if they end up together or not.

I started at a Community College, a little compass test got me in, and it didn't cost me a dime.

Talking about high school makes me feel old, my ten year h.s. reunion is next year.
On another note, I really should get into doing meditations and the like everyday. I'm trying to get better with time management.

i feel old talking about highschool and i just graduated a year ago. my little brother is in the ninth grade and i laugh when he says he's failing at test and its no big deal because here its a huge deal!

Lol, I'm a junior. I'll be a senior in a few weeks.
AP Exam on the 7th and 12th. XD I'm like, stalking the dates.
Senior year is so expensive, in a rush, and everything. I feel like I'm not going to enjoy it. Everything has deadlines. :/

i have my dash for cash on the 12th. we have to do a PFA(physical fitness assessment). if we pass then we are promoted to E-4(petty officer third class) if you fail you dont get the promotion.

I'm sorry, but I'm one of the people who calls our 1st Sergeant at my highschool the King of the Pickles. XD
I took JROTC in 9th..But all that stuff confuses me.
