We have 4 eggs from our breeding and while we have found a home for 3 of them Berry and I thought we'd like to give GC newbies a chance at their very own egg. exclaim Rules exclaim
1: Must not own more than 3 critters. (we've opened it to 0-3 for this)
2: Absolutely no mules. believe me we'll be checking (less that 3 months and 1000 posts will be auto suspicion of mules)
3:No guilting anyone else out of trying
4:No giving away the eggu if you win! (the reason you won was because we liked you're style)
5:Must be RPed...the whole reason for the contest X3
6: No cheering of any one person in particular, and no jeering at all (nay saying)
7:No editing of the post once it's entered (if you need to fix something please strike out the entry out saying why and RE-POST it )

Prompt A: You have hatched out to see the new world. Your mother is off chasing a butterfly or some other bug leaving you in the care of you father who seems to be a bit of a stick in the mud. What do you do? Do you try to goat him into playing or do you take a page from his book of life and put up a front of play if for children?
Prompt B: You're a young gem and your father has warned you not to venture alone into the forest and especially not to eat any strange berries you might find. The sun is beginning to set. Do you follow your father's instructions and leave the forest be for now? Do you follow an insect in without realizing it, like your mother might do? Or is there something else you would do?
Prompt C: This is a bit of a free prompt here really so Rp the critter as you would like; tell us about him/her and how their personality is or anything else you might want to do that isn't one of the first two prompts.
About the family Renegade's a bit of a strict gem. He sees horsing around as a childish thing to do though don't let him fool you He can let caution go to the wind and have fun occasionally as long as his friend Laurana doesn't see him (see my journal for more info on his friends) He finds Simi fun to be around and one of the few to ever catch him enjoying a bout of tag or I spy.  Simi might be an adult gem, but she's very childlike and naive. She loves to play tag and chases butterflies. Barbecue is her favorite flavor of anything. She hates the word "no" and gets upset if someone tells her she can't have or do what she wants. Distracted to the point of absent-mindedness, Simi is more likely to play games and get into trouble with her offspring than to do an disciplining.

why do you want this egg? I'd love to be able to get my first from the shop to begin role playing. I feel that getting an egg that is part of a family will give me a chance to find role playing with the sisters/brothers and parents (which would be amazing).
Would you be up for family rp? Definitely.

RP Response:
Curiosity could kill someone, anyone born around my father would know that. Staying safe would allow you to grow up healthy, but where was the fun in that? Not only do I have a sense of curiosity, I have a sense of adventure. I dream of fields far away and basking in the foreign suns. Staying close to my parents is against my nature, and I wasn't about to let a simple warning from my father keep me from actually following my heart.
All my father needed to do was turn his head, and I was off like a wild animal towards the forest. After I was a few yards into the forest did I know I was free to my own will now. I could do whatever it is that I wanted. I could be a wild and strong adventurer like in my dreams and set my own rules. Father couldn't stop me as I wander without any set course.
It didn't take me long to get lost. I didn't care at first, but I felt small twangs of regret in my stomach. I missed my mother, and felt the desire to cry out for her. I tilted my head back, trying not to look or act scared. The sun was beginning to set and I had absolutely no clue where home was. He shivered against the creeping dusk air and pursued a direction that he felt might lead him own.
The forest was terrifying now. Everything seemed to move, including the trees. Shadows seemed to dart out behind trees, and the forest only grew louder. The night life was beginning to panic me and I could only cower up against a hollowed out tree trunk. I wanted my father now. He would release his anger onto me, for sure, but I needed his strength right now more than anything. He'd surely be looking for me, right?
My sharp cry pierced the night in desperation. The adventurer in me had taken his seat and the child in me desperately longed for the safety of his family. I knew that my siblings would tease me upon my return, but they'd envy me for my blatant disregard for rules.
I sudden crackling of twigs behind me left my heart in my stomach. I felt as though I would faint. I could hear heavy breathing behind me. I let out soft whine, hoping that whatever it was would leave me alone. The smell was what hit me next, the overwhelming scent of my father drifted down upon me. I looked up to see his eyes of disappointment. He didn't need to say a word before I followed him obediently back to the rest of the family.
Is the adventurer gone? Oh no, not at all. I'll just wait now until I'm fully equipped with the knowledge it takes to make it into the world safely.

The young lad gently curled up and stretched once more before looking around the field. Her mother was gone along with some of her siblings, most likely off to play or cause some other random havoc. Her dark patches contrasting the main white from her father.
Smiling, she approached the male, gently prodding him with a front paw. Giving him the puppy-dog eyes. "Come on papa." she cooed to him softly. "can we play? Its usually you or Mum around here...and you rarely spend time to play...." her soft lips curled into a pout, her tail wagging slightly as she really wanted them to be together, their family, having fun and living the good life.
