As it flaps its golden wings against the pale sky
It soars so high
Words can not explain the emotions within me
As i watched its eyes flicker like fire in hell itself
Landing with a mighty thud, as it rested its heavy against a mountain.
tip toeing ever so slowly to this marvelous creatures side, i...

Mhm..
"When we First Took Flight"
The sky stretched before us,
Like endless sea,
I remembered when you took my hand...
Holding it tight in your grasp..
As you slowly inched towards the edge of the jagged cliff...
Me: Hold da heck up! What da heck you doin mane?!
You: C'mon baby you messin up da poems pattern..
Me: Da heck I am! You los'n yo freak'n mind! Inch'n off da dang cliff you have's ta be los'n yo mind!
You: Trust me bay...-extends hand back out to me-
Me:....mmm...-slowly takes your hand-
Then with that he jumped off and with me behind him, for sure I thought death was calling me, but as I opened my eyes we were flying....
As I remembered, when we first took flight....
