After waiting some time for it our Guild Now has an Official Guild Mule:
galileo_jones
Why the name?
I liked Bakura's suggestion of Einstein, using a famous geek, but I wanted someone even further back in history, and Galileo also dabbled in philosophy- so I decided to go with him. Why Jones- It sounded silly but kind of cool, like a superhero's "regular guy" last name.
What Is the Mule For:
-If you don't feel like adding a moderator, or all of the mods, you can add the guild mule as a friend. I will be sending out friend requests in a few days/weeks. This helps me see at-a-glance who's online and who's not.
-The Guild Mule can be used by various moderators when making an official announcement. Sort of a unified voice if you will.
-This makes contests and gifts easier. Guild funds can only be used for subforums and such-- with a Mule we have a public guild account for contest prizes to go into.
-The Guild Mule's House in Gaia Towns will become the official "clubhouse" of the guild if you will.
