Since we like to spam every single thread with random chatter. Go as off topic as you want! And because I feel bad spamming the RLF&S I shall continue it here: Hypephilia Ooo what shade? I need to dye my hair, my roots are getting bad, but I don't want to until I get my extensions because I highly DOUBT long rainbow hair could be anything but tacky. I'm already pushing it.I was thinking about doing this shade again: [x]But I'm thinking I'd rather use up some of the dyes I already have rather than just buying more haha. I still have an almost full thing of bright red, orange, and yellow. 2/3 of indigo, 1/2 of neon purple, 1/3 green and blue, and 1/5 teal. =[ I forget what the hair swatch was exactly D: but if I remember right it's a lighter red.

I haven't bleached my hair since I was like..18 so I'm a bit fuzzy on it all.
I washed my hair..I hope that's not bad, is it? My boyfriend went off how it's bad because the oils aren't there to protect my scalp yet I look online and everywhere says to have clean hair because the oils interfere with the bleaching process!
So confused.

It really doesn't make all that much of a difference haha. I personally don't wash it beforehand because I figure I have to wash the bleach out. Then later I have to wash the color out. I just don't want to dry my hair out too badly haha.

See my problem was I got that color from dying over teal, green, blue, and purple with a bright red. So I'd have to do some crazy mixing haha. But its been my favourite. =[

Oh wow; that's crazy.
You should be able to find a dye around that shade though.. I think Special Effects or Punky makes one... or at least they should. ;D

Yeah, I was thinking maybe SFX Blood Red or Devilish. I have Nuclear Red so I was thinking of playing around and mixing to see if I get close.
Edit: That was easy. I just mixed nuclear with a little wildflower and it made the prettiest deep, bright red LOL

Maybe if you added a light blue under it; it would make the red darker..

I'm doing test strands on one of my wigs right now.
I'm about 80% sure if the colors nice, Ill do it. I've just wanted my extensions so I can do it all in one go, but that will take forever because they're being hand wefted and the girl doing them is having like, a lot of sales lately. On top of which, it takes 10 days to make each pair. So it might be awhile.
Buuut. I dont want horrible roots forever. =[
