A sorcer who loves to expermint on people with his spells
Apollo stepped from the limo before a dark looking castle. He glanced at his slave before ordeing the male out. His bulter stepped near him to await orders. "Come, ? What is your name?" he asked his slave. He hated forgetting things. Yet, he wanted to test out a spell since his slave was a merman.
His sorcery always came firstto him before anything else. His bulter made sure he eat and drank when he was two busy with his spells. The castle was kept clean and neat so that Apollo could find his tools. If something was out of place, an angery Apollo came down on the closest person's head.

Picture -  Name - Mikilay Soras
Mikilay had obiediently gotten into the limo and had sat quietly inside of it for the whole journey. He hadn't said his name the whole time and just stared out the window. He looked at the dark looking mansion and shivered a bit. When he was ordered out of the limo he got out quietly and stood before the man. He looked at his master's green snake eyes silently for a moment before he answered. "Mikilay Soras," he said quietly. He lowered his eyes after he spoke.
The slave was not impressed with this man. However the Merman would obey him. Mikilay wanted to get into the water of his master's pool. Staying out of the water for too long was dangerous and he risked drying out.

Apollo growled darkly when he heard a large cat's roar. "Damn that lion. It have better not have destoired my spells." he said darkly. The beast's roar sounded again from the inner hall which they had yet to enter through the front door. The front doors slammed open from the force a large black lion's push. It roared savagely at Apollo before attacking. Apollo slammed it to the ground with a spell before he walked over to it.
A strange blue staff was caught on the lion's fur which had made it mad. He removed the staff before relasing the spell. Instead of going fo Apollo's throat again, it turned it golden eyes on Mikilay before licking its jaws. "Jet, Halt" Apollo ordered sharply. The beast laided down at his feet and watched the merman like he was dinner. "Hike Las froh" he said darkly. The black lion was placed by a small black cat that meowed.
He looked at his slave before turning to enter the house with the cat resting on his broad shoulders. "Come , Mikilay. You will rest today but tonight you will be my test subject for a complex spell." he said darkly. He entered the house and disappeared up stairs leaving His bulter and Mikilay alone. "Come this way, sir. Master asked me to bring you to the pool" he said. He lead mikilay through the vast corridors to a large glassed topped chamber that held three large pools. Each with a different type and tempature of water inside while one had a stock of all types of fish and seafood inside it. The butler left him there before leaving.

Picture - Name - Mikilay Soras Mikilay had stiffened when he heard the roar of the lion. When the doors opened and the lion burst through he stood there wide eyed and stared at it. He didn't make a sound as it attacked Apollo nor did he move. He was frozen. He had never seen such a large cat before. His master quickly subdued it and then removed a staff from its fur. Once it was released it didn't try and attack Apollo again. No it turned those eyes on him and looked at him like he was dinner. Mikilay let out a gasp and stepped back, but he needn't have worried it seemed. The Master turned the lion into a cat and then put it on his shoulders.
He listened to what the man said and was grateful to be able to rest. He felt a bit worried about the news that he was going to be used as a test subject for a spell later. Well he had wondered what his master was going to use him for and now he knew. He gave a small bow to his master's retreating back. "As you wish Master," he said. He looked at the butler when he spoke to him and nodded. Mikilay followed him silently.
He looked around once they came to the pool room and noted the three pools. Once the butler had left he checked the two empty pools. One was too cold for the Merman and was filled with fresh water. The other thankfully was the right temperature and was filled with salt water like the ocean. He slipped into this pool and was soon in his Merman form. He swam to the bottom of the deepest part of the pool and curled up on the floor of the pool. Once he was comfortable he fell asleep. He spent the rest of the day sleeping at the bottom of the pool.

A sorcer who loves to expermint on people with his spells
Apollo cursed foully as he read over the spell's ingrants. He had all of it but for the blood of a snake. His blood would have to due since he hated to harm his beloved pet, Slither. A green forest viper that was always in Apollo's robes. He drew his curved dagger before slicing into his wrist. Soon a sliver chalice was filled with his crimson blood as he licked his bleeding wound. He bandaged the wound before leaving his chamber. Everything was ready for him to cast the spell by using Mikilay as his test subject.
He strolled into the pool room and looked around for his slave. He smiled as he pulled off his robes before diving into the salt water pool. He had strong lungs so he was able to hold his breath for a long time. In spots on his tan lean body, green scales glistened as a sign of his serpant blood. Spotting his slave sleeping on the pool's bottom made his smile before he wiped it away. His hand shock his slave's shoulder as he waited for him to awaken.

Mikilay slept peacefully under the surface of the pool's waters. His lungs had made the transition from breathing air to breathing water easily. He was dreaming of his child had he lived and hatched. A small smile appeared on is lips.
Then he felt a hand on his shoulder shaking him awake and his dream broke up and drifted away. His smile disappeared as the image of his son's smiling face became distorted and faded away. "Kaorusuchigui," he mumbled sadly. Then he opened his eyes.
He looked up at his master with mild surprise. He saw the scales, but those weren't what surprised him. It was how Apollo could hold hold his breath. Most humans couldn't stay down under the water for as long as his master probably had so far. He raised and eyebrow. "Are you alright?" he asked. He swam to the surface and choked on the first few breaths of air and coughed up water.

Apollo surfaced along side Mikilay. He shock out his long black hair before swimming to the pool's edge. His tone body was sleek as he stepped into the light. "I am fine. I taught myself much so that when i had to gather ingredents for my spells." he said. His snake green eyes glowed brightly as he pulled on his robes.
A small green snake slithered from the clothes to look at Mikilay. it nodded its head before disappearing back into Apollo's clothes. "Come Mikilay. The quicker we test this spell, the faster you can go back to your pool. It would be bad if you died." he said. He waited beside a small palm tree for Mikilay to leave the pool.

Mikilay nodded. "Alright. You're not a half bad swimmer for a human," he said. He rarely paid commpliments any more so he surprised himself when he said that. He swam to the edge and watched his master. He adverted his eyes as the man dressed however.
When he saw the snake he looked at it closely in fasination. It was beautiful. He was disappointed when it disappeared back into his master's robes once more.
Mikilay obediently hauled himself out of the water easily. He looked down at his tail and turned it into a pair of human legs once more. He was still a tad tired so their were a few scales and his toes were webbed. They looked human enough to him. At least he could walk.
He checked that his water cloth wrap was in place around his waist. He walked over to Apollo and bowed slightly. "I am ready master," he said quietly.

Apollo glanced at his slave before leaving the pool area. He lead Mikilay to the chamber where he would test the spell on Mikilay. He began to mix the herbs into the cup of his own blood. "Mikilay stand over the spell circle" he order without looking up. He had to make sure the ingridents were stirred the right way.
He walked over to Mikilay before drawing a small circle on his chest over his heart. His snake, Slither, left his robes to lay around Mikilay's neck. The snake's head recived a small bit of blood circle as well. "I am going to do a soul tranfer between you and Slither. No matter what you can't fear the magic or it will kill you." he said darkly. His last test subject had done that and pixxed Apollo off with his miserable death. The merman seemed to be made of sturner stuff than the fool. "Slither no using Mikilay's body for any of your tricks. Once i see the spell has work i will return you to your body" he said sharply as he watched the snake. it flicked out its tounge like a taunt.

Mikilay silently followed Apollo from the pool area to the chamber where the spell would be tested on him. He didn't ask any questions as he went and stood over the circle like he was told. He did however watch Apollo mix the herbs with curiosity. He was unfamiliar with land plants so the herbs fascinated him.
He stood absolutely still as Apollo walked over to him and drew a small circle of blood over his heart. He looked at the snake and watched a smaller circle be drawn on its head. He reached up to touch the snake, but stopped before he could thinking better of it. He put his hand back at his side and just looked at the snake curiously. He didn't know if the snake would mind him touching it, but at least he could look at it. It was beautiful.
Reluctantly he tore his gaze away from the snake and looked back at his master when the man spoke. At least he knew what was going to be done to him now. He wasn't afraid of magic, he was a creature of magic himself. The consequence of death didn't faze him either. Merfolk risked death once the are conceived. It was difficult to survive child hood.
He looked at the snake curiously again as Apollo warned it not to use his body for the snake's tricks. The snake was a prankster? That was interesting. He looked back at Apollo.
"You used the exact ingredients specified correct? I will not die because you did not use the right ingredients or substituted something for something else," he said quietly. From what he knew of Merfolk magic it was unpredictable and exact. He didn't know if land magic was the same, but he didn't plan to find out through a spell gone wrong.

Apollo noticed the hand that had rasied to pet Slither before it fell to his slave's side. At mikilay's words, Apollo laughed. It was a light sounding with a deep tone like a drum. "Do not worry. Slither's magic will make sure it works. Be warned though, he likes to sleep in the warmest spots on ones body. So if you want to have him with for a time, you have been warned." he said softly. He did not say what parts of the body the snake would likely sleep at. The snake's eyes blinked before it nodded its head. Slither was interested in the merman and wanted to learn more.
he stepped from the circle as the age old spell fell from his pale lips. His bright green snake eyes slide closed as he chanted. It sounded like a song that was sung to the beats of a drum. It made ones body which to move. Instead of the body moving, the soul moved to the other body. A warmth would speard through Mikilay's body before he felt like flying for a few seconds. Apollo's chants stopped as he watched the souls change bodys. It had worked perfectly.

Picture - Name - Mikilay Soras Mikilay almost smiled at the sound of Apollo's laugh. He liked the sound of it surprisingly. However he didn't let himself smile. He looked back at the snake when he heard he had magic as well. When he heard he could have the snake for a bit he raised his hand again and this time petted it gently. He marveled at the feeling of its scales. He liked the land snake. It was so different from water snakes in the ocean.
While Mikilay was still petting the snake, Apollo stepped away and began chanting the spell. He embrace the magic willingly liking the way it made him feel. A few seconds later Mikilay gazed at his master from Slither's eyes. He flicked the snake's tongue curiously. It had worked and he wasn't dead.

A curse left Apollo's lips when Slither inside Mikilay's body, jumped him. But the way he did made sure his body with Mikilay's soul inside was ok. He knocked Apollo flat on his broad back before grinning at his wickedly. "Come now, my friend. You can do what you realy wish to do to the merman now. Why don't you show him how you feel?" Slither's voice said from the merman's body. Another curse left Apollo's lips as he tried to move his body from under Mikilay's but couldn't due to Slither's spell.
Smirking as he began to chant the spell again before Slither could stop him. The souls switched back as Apollo lay stuck under the weight of Mikilay's body. He didn't wish to move the merman's body when the souls were switching since it could cause problems.

Mikilay was startled as Slither jumped Apollo with his body. Thankfully he did it in such a way that he was alright. The Merman had no idea what Slither meant by Apollo showing him how he felt. He wondered if the snake could talk in his own body, but decided to not test it out. He was to busy being embarrassed by the position his body was in over his master.
Then, to Mikilay's relief, Apollo started to chant the spell again and he and Slither's souls switched back. He embraced the magic again and a few seconds later he was back in his own body. He blushed seeing that his master hadn't moved him while their souls were switching and he was still on top of the other man. Blushing he got off of the man and sat on the floor next to him. He looked at Slither. "You are a devil. Why did you use my body to pounce on the master?" he said quietly feeling a little upset and very embarrassed.
