XxxWelcome to Affinity AcademyxxX Welcome one and all to Affinity Academy!  You have received a letter in the mail saying you have been accepted to a new school; Affinity Academy. You have no idea why you were accepted or what lies in store for you. You are instructed to wait at the curb in front of your home, a black car picks you up and in seconds you are outside of the Academy. An old, gangly man opens your car door and directs you into the school. You move with the flow of students into a large and grand hall. There are couches, chairs, and pillows littering the floor. For the first time you notice, not everyone is a human, it seems there is a large mix of races and species...you yourself may or may not be human. There is a platform on the far side of the wall, a seemingly hidden door opens and everyone in the hall quiets down. A very elegantly woman steps in, a little yellow bird perched on her shoulder. She seems to be discussing something with the bird. It takes her a moments but she soon remembers where she is and smiles as she looks out on everyone. All around her creatures and other humans and species surround her. She introduces them as your teachers. She then goes through a slight explanation as to why you were chosen to attend Affinity Academy. All in all it amounts to you holding some sort of special ability that you will learn to master while attending Affinity Academy. She does not share why you are selected to learn here, but it almost seems like she needs your help in fighting off some sort of dark force...she also warns that some of you may not complete the journey and might even fall to the dark side. After she has ruffled your feathers she smiles kindly, the teachers disappear and she then begins to tell you of your dorms. There are two dorm building, each flanking the East and West ends of the school. Each dorm mixes male and female, but they sleep on separate sides of the building, dorm monitors patrol the halls at night to keep students from sneaking into each others rooms. There is a commons room in the middle of each dormitory where the male and female population can mix and mingle. She then tells everyone that behind the massive Academy is the library. After her speech she smiles and realizes she hasn't introduced herself. She is Head Mistress Jinx Avalon and her helper is known simply as Flutter.

Aleria bit her bottom lip as the students swarmed around her. She wasn't exactly sure where to go when the teachers and Head Mistress disappeared, but her curiosity was saved. On the outskirts of the hall tables suddenly appeared, each with a teacher sitting behind it. They were passing out dorm assignments so Aleria followed the other students to the tables.
"This is all so weird, huh?" she asked aloud with a smile to a girl she'd come up next to.

((Taking a tiny little break from work to write a quick post!! Anyone is welcome at all times! Feel free to join in whenever!!))
Aleria shuffled along with Larka at her side. The line she stood in moved slowly, but surely she would reach the table and receive her dorm assignment. She looked ahead of the line, only three more students and she'd be next.
"Aleria Belamoon?" the older woman behind the table questioned as Aleria stepped up to the table.
"Uhm, yes?" she smiled and waited for what the woman had to say...which apparently wasn't much. She handed Aleria a packet of instructions, it was simply labeled East.
Aleria turned to the girl behind her and smiled quickly, "Well I guess I'm in the East Dorms, maybe we'll be in the same dorm?" Aleria blushed lightly, she knew she sounded awkward, but she was trying to be friendly. She moved off to the side away from the shuffle of students so that she could study her packet of information.
All that seemed to be inside was a handbook, map of the school grounds, schedule of classes, breakfast times, lunch times, dinner times, and snack options, a list of clubs and various activities offered around the campus, and assigned room number.
((Okay, everyone can pick which dorm they want to be in East or West as well as if they want a roommate or not...you may chose your roommate as well, but obviously female with female and male with male ^_^ Also, anyone that RPs may control the minor characters like the woman assigning dorms as well as teachers, but the Head Mistress will be controlled by me. I want to see where this RP can go with everyone controlling a portion of it! And if there are any questions, just PM me and I'll be happy to answer them, and also, have fun!!))

ﻬAnna was getting tired of waiting in line when the line finally began to move.Anna gently nuged Star with her foot so the fox would move up as well.Star walked foward with grace her tail swishing back and forth.Anna rolled her eyes at Star somtimes she thought Star should be the human sience she 'talked' more and acted elegantly..Then she noticed the girl from before get out of line.Anna would be at the table for her dorm when the next 2 people where done..She sighed lightly not much waiting would be left.ﻬ
