A few days is nothing, don't worry about that. Anything longer than a week is necessary of informing, though... especially if you're a respected and highly sought after member of the guild.

Demonstrably, trying to get a guildful of members to keep you up-to-date on their comings and goings is near-impossible. One guild is not a colossal priority to most folks, not to mention checking Gaia itself.

I try to get on and check updates atleast once a day. So, if other people post and are active, I'll usually be semi-active.
