You've really let me down, I've had to revert back to my last.fm instead of relying on you fgts for new, interesting, thought-provoking chunes. Define what "garage" music actually is. In your own words. Because to me, it's any form of sound you could convey as music, made in a garage. At least, that's what logic tells me it should be. I very much enjoy surf music, however, obviously this thread is lacking in the posting margin acceptable for this business quarter.

It's hard to explain, I'll know when I hear it. It's not really punk, but its still got like a trashy, surfy, minimalist kind of rock sound. Like the Standells, The Mummies, The Milkshakes. All tube amps, all trash-can sounding rock n roll. That's garage.

I've never really delved into that genre before, perhaps it's worth an investigation. I like the way you make it sound (that's why I always ask people to describe it in their own words, if they can't convince me to like it, neither can wikipedia if I look it up. ha). And I'm always down for minimal anything. Splendid.
