I don't believe it. I think the Mayans were just like, well we planned the calendar ahead for a few thousand centuries we're good. It was all laziness in my eyes.
Then again I could be completely wrong and we'll all be dead, however until I see it with my own eyes I'm a non-believer.
The whole thing just reeks of that Y2K scare LOL

Yeah, I can't believe they'd pull that over on us. Wait no, I do believe it.

Since I'm a buddhist, I cannot say what I want to say about them, because then my karma would be bad. one of the main things in Buddhism is to let things go, to not try and predict the future XD so i have no comment on the subject XD

. . . .anyway time is subjective, apparently there have been researchers saying the Mayan calendar is off by a few years anyway. I still find it hard to believe the world will end all because a calendar hasn't been planned ahead thousands of years in advanced. My cellphone has a calendar for the year 2012+ XD
And who's to say we wont all die before 2012 anyway, according to scientists there's apparently tens of thousands of things that could kill us at any given moment.
Yellow Stone park and it's super volcano, the sun is eventually going to explode, our galaxy is eventually going to collide with another one and be sucked into a black hole, a star could explode the shock wave will knock out our atmosphere effectively killing us, and then of course our good friend the meteor can crash into us whenever, I'm sure there are other disasters that could happen, I just can't recall them all smile

Err. . .trying to anyway Time is subjective, time for me isn't the same for time for someone else, hell it isn't the same for all the planets in the solar system. It's man-made, it's bound to have it's flaws even if that was what the Mayans "predicted"
