Rephaim was pacing in the cave, which was dark and damp from the morning mist. He had been staying here for weeks, and it was beginning to show. He had to move soon; no one could know he was a half-immortal. "As if they don't know. You have freaking wings for Goddess' Sake." He muttered to himself. Rephaim was the result of a horrible crime. His father was a Fallen Angel, while his mother was a mere mortal. Even being a half-immortal Rephaim had powers humans could only dream of. For instance, he could fly easily and smoothly without the use of magic. And he could bend ice to his will. Rephaim also aged 1/5 of the years aged by humans. Which means he was only 16 right now. It appeared he would stay that way for quite a while. Rephaim took a look around the cave and noted a few things. The top of the cave had clearly been shaped by magic, and the walls had been expanded. He ended the spells running, and left the cave. He knew he wasn't to be back soon, or ever for that matter. Rephaim finished everything, folded in his wings so no one could see, and began running. He ran as fast as an elf, using about half of the energy. If he had been in shape, Rephaim would've been able to run several miles in a few minutes.
Kara sat on the edge of her seat as she endured the meeting of the Guard. They were discussing tactics with her father to stop the bandit underground on the outskirts of Bladehaven. "If we sent a couple of guards, they'd know we were and are serious about stopping them." General Xarin said. "Maybe so, but we'd be considered to be paranoid which could make them move to another part of the city to run their operations. But I agree, we need to stop them from supplying weapons to the Iceshard Kingdom." Kind Anduin said. Kara was playing with the frayed edges of her dress when her father said, "Kara, what do you think we should do? You are the High Priestess after all. She hated when he referred to her as the High Priestess, thought that was what she was. "I think we should move in specifically in one area, then put guards all over the city. Like, just at the borders though." Kara replied curtly. Her father nodded in assent and said, So be it. General, place 2 guards on each corner, and 3 on each main Gate. General Xarin nodded and stood up. He left the room with a strict gait, not allowing his pace to slip. Kara then stood up and said, "Father, I have come business to attend to. I'll see you tonight for supper." And with that, she walked out of the tactics tower and onto the bustling streets of Bladehaven. Kara's first stop was the Alchemy Shop, where she purchased a bottle of Daeringur Varisa. Daeringur Varisa was a potion that could be served as a poison, but also a remedy. You could give someone some of it, and they could be deathly ill. When you gave them more, they got better. What Kara was doing with it was that her mother was sick and this was the only way to cure her right now. As she was walking out of the alchemy shop, she could feel something pulling on the hem of her dress, which was a white gown, leather padded underneath, and silk sewn into the surface. The sleeves extended down all the way down her arms to her hands. Kara had this privately tailored for her initiation as High Priestess, and she had wore it ever since. She looked down and saw nothing. What had been pulling on the hem of her dress?
Aryanna stepped into the woods where her race lived. Everywhere she stepped, flowers seemed to spring alive and grass began to grow. Aryanna barely noticed this as it occured quite frequently to her and others of her race. She began to pick up her pace as the path she was now on was getting more narrow. She slowed down as she made her way between two hills, the path tightly bringing her through to the other side. When she got there, Arayanna overlooked an Elven village in a deep valley. The valley was like an arc, swinging deep in and rising back up on the other side. There was a river pouring in from the other side of the valley, cutting straight through until it reached the village. Then, it continued underground. Aryanna knew this because she had ventured deep underground by means of magic, exploring all the way under the valley. Aryanna galloped down to the village and went into her hut. She had a bit of learning to do.
((I would've typed for Drakvir, but I was running out of ideas. As you can see, I had to cut Aryanna's short.))
