It seems like I never get critiques when I post in Picture Post or WIP, so maybe you guys can help. Is her head too small? Should I turn out the palm of the hand on our left more? I'm going to draw on hair, spines and fins once I make sure that the human half of her is okay. Also if the pose seems too stiff (she did just stop swimming), then any advice on that would help too.

Thank you for the input! People ignore my critique requests on Picture Post/WIP because they're of realism, and it's frustrating.

I know that people swimming move differently than this, but she has fins on her arms (not drawn yet) to sort of steer her through the water...which is why her arms are out like that. It does seem stiff and I'm not sure if it's just because of the arms, or if her back is all stiff too. I have problems with movement, even when somebody's not moving. Animals that move through water seem somewhat weightless, so the movement of a person in water would be different than on land...but I'm not sure of how, since humans are somewhat awkward swimmers.
