Sarlia was lingering next to the lake, staring into the waters as though she was looking through a mist, her mind wandering and vaguely registering that which was around her at the time, her body felt heavy, and then she blinked back her mind. She saw something strange in her future, but it was cloudy, unclear, and dark.
She sat on her haunches, puzzling over what it could mean, a dark figure? A dark night? A dark color? Her head tilted to one side as she fluffed out her wings, then folded them down so that she could be a little more comfortable. Her hair rustled a bit as she tilted her head to the other side, sapphire colored eyes gleaming in the moonlight. Her body was shifting under her jacket as she sat pondering what the meaning behind what it was she had seen.

Jett had waited until his two adopted little ones had fallen asleep for a nap before he had headed out for a stroll around the lake, as he arrived he spotted a female, who seemed vaguely familiar. Deciding that a friendly conversation couldn't hurt he trotted over to her. "Hello," he greeted her with a smile. "The lake is very pretty, isn't it?"

At first she didn't register that she had been spoken to, then she twitched her tail, and realized she had been asked something, taking a deep breath she didn't turn to face who it was that had come to interrupt her thoughts, "It is beautiful and vast, and mysterious, full of power beyond comprehension most times." She was in some ways only voicing aloud what she'd been thinking to herself, and mulling over in order to understand what it had shown her.
Turning her head, her brow ridge twitched, it was a certain male gem that had given her a lecture on his younglings care. She shrugged, at least he was being civil this time, "And what brings you out here, good sir?" There was an odd sort of glow around her in the rather pale moonlight.

The male was a bit confused at her response, he glanced at the water after her description, gave a small hardly noticeable shrug, then turned back to look at her again to answer her question, "My two little ones are asleep, and Parun's there so I decide to go for a night stroll. Little one are wonderful but sometimes I like to just get away, ya know?" he cocked his head slightly at her at the end, a smile graced his lips. "Oh hey, you want to go on a walk around the lake with me? Or maybe a fly above it or a swim in it? I think it would be rather fun, don't you?"

Sarlia blinked at how friendly he was being, he actually wanted to go wander around the lake with her. Somehow with her pale skin she flushed a bit at the idea of swimming, "Flight I am fine with as I am walking, but, swimming is right out, I know it seems a bit silly but, I have to have help to get the jacket I wear off. And wet clothing can be...somewhat frustrating." She sighed a bit, feeling as though she was restricting things a little too much, but it really was difficult to get out of her vest jacket thing, and soggy leg warmers were not her idea of fun. She waited for him to say something before starting off on a walk.

"Okay, since I originally was planning on a walk anyway, let's do that," he replied before beginning to move alongside the shore, "So, what brought you out on this fine night? Since I told you why I was out, I think it's only fair that you tell me your reason, don't you think?" The male didn't really care that much why she was out to tell the truth he just wanted to create some small talk and such.

She seemed to sigh, then shrugged, "I have been having a rather odd vision as of late that bothers me." She kept in step with him without much though, "If foretells of something dark in my future, and I cannot see if it is something good or bad, or what the something is. Be it...Gem, Human, or an event." She dipped a paw in the lake then proceeded onward.
"I'm a mystic from the age when our...species was seen as a thing to revere, before they started chopping up our kind as gemstones when we are in our eggs. I foresaw it, but could not stop it. Thus I was banished." She was rambling. Usually she tended to ramble when speaking with Zulim, not someone outside of the inner circle, though it wasn't like her mistress would have issues. Jett had been one of the eggs they'd helped to find a home.

He nodded at her answer, "That sound rather troubling... I hope you find out soon," he replied, unsure of what to think of the second thing she said. "Um, why don't you try taking your mind off all the visions and mysticiness, at least for tonight?" he paused shaking out his black pelt. "So, it's a beautiful night, very peaceful." He told her trying to get her mind off the past and off the vision, at least for now.

She wanted to tell him that taking her mind off of said mystic thoughts was nearly impossibly, but feigned that she could manage it. She simply nodded as he said it was a beautiful night, "Quite, a perfect night for one to find that other half." It was a joke, a little in bad taste, but she laughed, "Not something I'd ever consider, but I'm sure you'll find a rather nice girl some time." She somewhat grinned, then looked over the pool, there was a fish that was particularly pretty. She went bounding back to get a good launch and flew to watch the rather fearless fish swim under her, it had oddly iridescent scales.

Jett shrugged when she mentioned him find a pretty girl one day, "I'm not really looking for a mate or anything involving that kind of love, what about you?" he replied before watching her back up and take a running launch into the air I guess we're going for a flight now... he thought to himself copying her and taking off. He circled around her as he followed her gaze to the fish, staring at it confused.
