The theme for the first contest is: UnderwaterI figured an easy theme for the first contest, just to get things started.
Ok so ReaperLuci and I were talking and we thought it would be cool to make an avi contest. The contest will be done on Tektek and it will be themed. For it to be annoymous the entries will be pmed to me and I will post them in the contest thread. After all we dont want people playing favorits.
wink The contest, for now untill we get it going, will be held every couple of weeks, with the avis being submitted on say a friday and voting going untill the next friday night when the winner will be picked. ( we will have dates but Not exactly sure on those yet)
The winner will get 5k and braging rights! Also the winner of the latest contest will be able to pick the theme for the next contest. Oh and the cost of the avi dosent matter, just the way the avi looks.

RulesAvi Contest - Please read the rules before entering or voting in this contest.
1. Members rate with a reply message in this thread. Justifying of course with a few words what lead them to their choice (e.g. I love the colors... etc...).
2. Members must rate EVERY avi - creators cannot vote their avi with the highest rank, but they don't necessary need to vote in the contest. If they give their own avi the highest rank, their avi will receive a penalty something like points being deducted from the final score.
3. Creators may not reveal or identify their entered Avis to other board members prior to the close of all voting. If someone requests votes to a certain signature this should be reported to myself or an available crew member.
Rating System:For example an contest like this one that has 4 avis. (random examples of course!)
Member A (likes avi #4, then avi #3, then avi #2, and last avi #1): rates avi #1 with 1 point. rates avi #2 with 2 points. rates avi #3 with 3 points and rates avi #4 with 4 points.
Member B (likes avi #2, then avi #1, then avi #4, then last avi 3): rates avi #3 with 1 point. rates avi #4 with 2 points. rates avi #1 with 3 points and rates avi #2 with 4 points.
Member C (likes avi#r4, then avi #3, then avi #1, then last avi #2): rates avi #2 with 1 point, rates avi #1 with 2 points, rates avi #3 with 3 points and then rates avi #4 with 4 points.
In the example
avi nr1 receives 6 points
avi nr2 receives 7 points
avi nr3 receives 7 points
avi nr4 receives 10 points so winner is #4.
