The Concept

Okay, so if we ended up doing the pokemon gijinka cosplays, we could have two people dressed as trainers or one dressed as a trainer and one as a Team Rocket grunt, and then a few people as gijinkas.
So, the trainers start a pokemon battle and the gijinkas fight, but the fight ends at a tie.
Everyone gets frustrated and they start a dance off.
Then, by the end of the skit, everyone starts dancing to some well known song (Single Ladies was mentioned earlier, so perhaps that).

The Characters
For this skit just put down which gijinka you're working on or which trainer, from there we'll compile a fight order list of who'll verse who and then move on to a script.

Trainer/Grunt: I could be one of the gangsters, hobo's, or if the other misty in the group doesn't want to do it, I could pull together my misty for the skit.
Dance abilites or training?: 15 years dance training in ballet, modern, tap, and contemporary, 2 years dance training in pop lock and isolation hip hop.

I was busting up the whole video.

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds, I do have a suggestion though as far as concept and script goes just to elaborate on the dance off and maybe give it a plot. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm rewriting the idea, just pitching some stuff we could maybe use as inspiration or I dunno. Also please note, all the cuss words would of course be bleeped out, and all the characters I used is just for a reference of the dialogue, and if this idea was taken seriously, who says what would most likely be changed, along with what trainer is used. (I just used misty as a the trainer since it's the only trainer costume I know is 100% complete and ready for masq.)

Announcer pre narration: Misty while on her way to becoming a gym leader, stumbles across a strange gathering of creatures she's never seen before. These creatures can only be described as... Otakus. Will misty tame the otaku?! Or better yet, will misty even make it to the otaku gathering known as, AX, wearing that skanky outfit in downtown L.A ?! "A Legend of Pika production" presents, "Don't touch my Pokeballs!"

Opens with Misty walking down the streets of downtown L.A, gunshots going off in the background. In the foreground we see a homeless person with a newspaper covering them.
Enter a normal every day gangster of downtown L.A, his name for records sake is Bob.

Bob: "Sup whitey, how much?"

Misty: "Hi, uhh, I’m a little lost could you hel... wait.. What?”

Bob: " you sure is looking mighhtty fine. Maybe a little 80's with the side pony tail thing going on, but I can dig a girl who dresses like a retard with those kind of legs."

Misty (overlapping his speech quietly but audible): "I'm so confused.. And I'm such a prissy b***h.. WAIT WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY AWESOME HAIRDO"

Bob: "Hey josh, BRO we gotta hot one over here"

Josh enters.

Misty: "ah what are you.. That doesn't go there! .. I CHALLENGE YOU TO A POKEMON BATTLE!"

Both look at her with an odd look.

Josh: "Yo maybe this hoe is crazy or somethin’"

They start to walk away.
Misty runs in front of them

Misty: "you can't run from a trainer battle!"

She steps back a good distance and prepares herself.
She pulls out a tape recorder, playing the pokemon theme, and starts to get really intense.
She throws a pokeball in front of the two gangsters and says "GO PSYDUCK"

There's an awkward pause.

She quickly throws a stuffed animal of pysduck at the two, hitting on in the face.

Josh: "ow what the fu—"

"PSYDUCK, USE CONFUSION!" she shouts.

Nothing happens.

Long pause.

Misty: "Damn Psyduck never listens to me."

The first gangster picks up the stuffed animal, twists its head, and rips it off, all the while misty's screaming "psyduck dodge, psyduck dodge! PPPPSSSSYYYYDUUUUCCCK".

Misty, hysterical, screams the darth vader "NOOOOOoooOo" and drops to her knees.
The gangster throws the head and body in front of her, and she cradles it to her saying repeatedly, "it's okay Psyduck, we'll find a pokecenter, it's okay..."


Meanwhile, in the background, all the pokemon gijinka are gathered on their way back from the hotel to AX presumably. They carry their con bags, with badges around their necks.

Pichu: "I'm just saying, I can't stand it when people scream you just lost the game at cons, it's so immature"

All gijinka look at her.

Pichu: "What, is there something in my teeth?"

Misty, looking around frantically, spots the gijinka group. She yells out, "Psyduck your death will not be in vain! I CHOOSE U TAUROS" and goes to grab the gijinka she called out.

Tauros: “Wait, what the— AMBER ALERT, STRANGER DANGER!”

Misty: “But Tauros, I'm the JUGGARNAUT BIATCH!”

Misty looks around, staring straight at the audience as if that wasn't supposed to happen before shrugging.

Tauros: "A Psyduck is in trouble you say!? My fellow gijinka.. ATTACK!"

They rush forward, surrounding the two confused gangsters still standing there. The FFVII battle music starts to play

One gangster looks to another.

Bob: "The ******** is this s**t."

Commence awesome dance battle fight. That'll be choregraphed.

Cubone throws its bone at the gangster's head. The music stops.

He throws it in a really dramatic way, despite it doing less to no damage.
The gangster grabs his head.

Bob: "ow, what the ********, he threw a bone at me!"

(In a shriley high voice, he starts to break down)

"i'm done here, IIIII am DONE"

He suddenly sounds and acts whiney and dramatic as he wipes some tears from his cheeks "that REALLY hurt me." He leaves in a dramatic fuss.

Cubone facepalms.

Josh: "BOBB, NOOOO. That is IT!"

He approaches the Torchic.

Absol: "oh no he's going to attack Torchic...WAIT, TORCHIC IS EVOLVING!"

Torchic crouchs down, and Blaziken who was behind torchic the whole time covered in black blanket springs up covering Torchic in the process.

Pichu: "Wow, Torchic evolved into Blaziken!"

Josh: “I'm pretty sure that dude was hiding behind that dude the whole ti—."

Tauros: "No he wasn't"

Josh: "Yes you ju—"

Tauros: "Pft, PFFT no. You clearly are suffering from an exposure of too much awesomeness, it's clouded your proper judgment and ability to see right. "

Josh: "Yah, no. You cheap bastards just used a blanket to "evolve" the..Torchic.. Blaziken, the heellll... ENGLISH MOTHER ******** DO U EVEN SPE—GAHH”

Absol attacks him mid sentence as the surrounding gijinka engulf him. We see fake body parts flying up from the center of the group paired with the gangsters scream.

While that happens in the background, Altaria (or another healer pokemon) goes to comfort misty. It bend down towards Misty and say, "Don't worry, I'll heal your Psyduck with this Potion!"

It pulls out a roll of duct tape, and tapes Psyduck's head back to its body.

Misty: "Wow Psyduck has been completely healed!”

yelling while still being mauled by the gijinka:

Josh: “It’s made of cotton for ******** sakes!”

Misty: "This calls for a random dance montage!"

The Nobody dance music (or some other well known dance music) starts to play as all the gijinka start to get in formation to dance. Just as they're beginning, the music starts to die and cuts out.
A third gangster, nicky, enters with Bob waving his hands with a gun in it.

Nicky: "O HELL NO. There will be no dancing up in this s**t." Impersonating "I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick a**... And I'm all out of bubblegum."

He shoots all the cosplayers down. There's a pause. He looks over to Bob.

Nicky: "Heh you like that one didn't you, 'i'm all outta bubblegum' damn I'm funny."

While the two gangsters walk off stage there's an awkwardness as all the pokemon characters, and Josh are left dead, not budging. Just as things start to seem like they're done, the thriller music starts to play. Slowly the Gijinka, Misty, and Josh rise, and begin to do the thriller dance;

A good 15 seconds into the dance, Off stage;

Nicky: "I THOUGHT I TOLD Y'ALL THERE WOULD BE NO DANCING UP IN THIS MOTHER ******** SKIT"

We hear gunshots going off as everyone groans out their lines like zombie's at each other.

"s**t"
"braaainnzz"
"we better gooo"
"Misty touch my pokeballs"
"gimme $5 bucks and i'll think about it"

And they all scurry off stage.

The homeless person wake's up to say a delayed "SHUT UP" while he russells with his newspaper to toss it at the running zombie's.
