Pencils are my second favorite. I actually have a friend who likes to draw with sharpies, and she's actually amazing. She'd never admit it, but she is.

ALL OF THE ABOVE!! I couldn't choose... pencils are easy to work with and charcoal brings out some nice, dark lines... and then you use your blood to really bring out the best reds, though the color never stays the same so a new coat must be painted on once in a while... sweatdrop
