well i wana make a manga
but i need a story writter, for now im just looking to make a 10 page doujin. nothing too serious. just something to start on to get our feet grounded in this thing.
Anyone else got any ideas or is starting a mangaka group or doujin?

i'd love to help out with some drawing, but right now i'm a bit busy with some commisions. once i finish those i'll start helping a bit. school keeps me really busy though.

ok here I go again.My manga is called Shingo and today I'll be telling you guys a bit about the plot and I'll even post some pages for you to see my progress.Right...so the story goes like this:
Shingo the youngest child of the Kusanagi family along with his best friend Kyo descendant of the well known Ryuga family,grew together with the common goal to be accepted into the worlds most revered organized force,TROJE...The Realm Of Jade Elements.TROJE is the organization that keeps the balance of right and wrong through out the Sendan continent and uses their lower branches to cover the other 2 continents Rinvan and Udanma.Shingo reaching his 12th birthday a couple of days before the story starts,meant that he was finally eligible for the entry into TROJE.But as always,not everything goes smooth and simple.A world wide war erupts between TROJE and a powerful yet driven man named Yuri Dolvici.In the midst of all this,Shingo and Kyo who are only 2 years apart from one and other,are accepted into TROJE with the help of Shingo's older sister Yuki Kusanagi.As she is an old member of the peace keeping organization,Yuki pulls some strings and manages to
grant entrance in TROJE to her younger brother and the naive yet powerful boy Kyo.Dealing with the war against Yuri Dolvici,in time Shingo,Kyo and their very close comrades start to suspect "seeds of corruption" sprouting from TROJEs core.With the enemy in front of them and their allies working behind their backs,the small group of friends decide to rebel.Led by one of the most powerful masters of martial arts,Reiji Ryuga,Kyos grandfather and mentor,this small yet experienced group establish an opposition in order to rid the world of these two grate powers TROJE and the armies of Yuri Dolvici.Leaving aside his rivalry with the Kusanagi and Moryster family,which were both exceptional in the art of assassination,Reiji Ryuga turns his full attention and magnifies his anger towards TROJE which he held responsible for the deaths of 2 important and beloved members of the Ryuga family,in the past...his daughter,Kyoko Ryuga and her husband Gen Ryuga.
Note:And in case you're wondering about the names of Kyo Ryugas parents,in my manga the man adopts the woman's family name at marriage,the opposite to our ways and that's why Kyoko is Reiji's daughter and still wears the Ryuga family name even though she was married to Gen.
Ok,so this is one part of the first season,which will be covering a lot of chapters,I hope.
The first pages are old and not so good looking as the last and more recent ones,you'll see that the backgrounds are mostly missing,shadings and effects are poorly made,panels are to simply arranged and other things...but anyway I'm trying to improve.

Hey guys!First of all I'd like to thank you for welcoming me to your guild.
Now then...I have a little manga project of my own here and I really hope I can manage to turn it into something worth reading.
As the title says,my work is named Purgatory and were not talking about just a metaphoric name here...no,the action actually takes place in the legendary "prison for the lost souls",Purgatory.
So a young man,which name I have yet to establish,is brought into purgatory along with many other souls.Finding himself in a bizarre place where time and space normally collide,the youngster sets off to find a way out.In his search,our protagonist stumbles upon a friendly old man who finds a certain interest in the boy and offers to give him a hand with his goal,since he claims that he knows the place quite well.Little does the boy know that the old man was in fact really old.Dating back since the times when magical creatures and legendary worriers filled the lands,the "Ancient" old man sees a potential in the youngster's heart and decides to teach him the mystical ways of sorcery and magic.
How will these teachings help the young man cross the mysterious land of Purgatory in his search for freedom? Even I am curious as to what my own mind will come up with. rofl
As for some illustrations...I have some sketches of the main character and a page,the 7th page to show you guys. biggrin
The second one illustrating the protagonists face is a bit dark and blurry because the picture was taken with my phone.
