Okay, so i was reading this zombie book and i realized. zombies feel no pain whatsoever. what if, we train zombies as soldiers, and send them out to combat? they just need full helmets and were in the clear. well. until we nuke them...... or they figure out a zombie antidote....... or they get helmet peircing bullets...... this has alot of flaws.....

Their brain function is at a minimal, pure instinct really, no actual thought process, you really wouldn't be able to train them, but if you were to do something that might attract them to your enemies, that would probably be the best way to go, I wouldn't try to get a helmet on a thrashing zombie.

Or just spread the virus in said country and use it as an excuse to quarantine/nuke them.

nah, the virus might spread through the air or through water, and all waterways and air are connected. water by ocean and air by.... more air........ lets hope that the military never finishes this idea..........................

The best possible method of using the 'zombie' thing to our advantage is by dropping the infective virus into enemy lines and having the infected originate there, away from us. Their mental capacity is extremely limited and it would be impossible to train them to even a degree that makes them hold the weapon you gave them, much less use it. They would just run rampant, which defeats the purpose of attempting to convert them into soldiers at all. Additionally? By originating them near our own side, it endangers us of infection, even if we take precaution. It's best to originate the outbreak there.

Since when are shield generators available outside of science fiction movies and video games. The best plans tend to be the ones that are realistic and can actually be used.

I wouldn't risk using zombies as soldiers if i got trillions of dollars for it. its a ridiculous idea and would probably do us more harm than good.

Actually, a shield generator is entirely plausible. If you look back over some of Tesla's patents, he actually had some very similar to such a concept that could be made to work with proper funding. not a mobile version, mind you, a factory-sized system of machines capable of making a city-wide shield of charged particle energy. Hell, he even had patents on cannons that would work in a similar fashion (that's actually where Fallout derives their 'Tesla Cannon' weapon). Tesla had some amazing stuff, look them up some time.
