Sky let out a happy yawn, shaking her solid white colored pelt. The sky was dotted with stars still, but they were vanishing at a quick rate, making way for the sun that was peeking over the mountains. Sky stood up from her nest, shaking a few feathers from it. Her belly was growling. She'd have to move quickly if she wanted to catch prey at their most vunerable point: When they're distracted by their own hunger. Sky padded away from the cleft in the large boulder she had made her den in. It was getting warmer. She let out a sigh of relief. She couldn't stand the cold. She had been born in the winter.

The sun was starting to peek over the mountains and the light was shining in Alice's face. Alice stirred a little before she blinked open her eyes. Alice yawned and stood up. Then she jumped down from her nest and landed safely on her paws. The she-cat shook her pelt and stretched her limbs. Her nest was in a hole large enough for even a large cat to sleep in which was in a large pine tree. It would keep her safe from the wind and rain so it was a perfect choice for her.
Alice wandered aimlessly in the woods for a while and yawned. After a few heartbeats of wandering aimlessly, her belly growled and she sighed. 'Guess I'll catch some prey.' She sniffed the air and tasted the air. Mouse. It seemed that a mouse has been here just a several heartbeats before and it wasn't far. Alice crouched into a hunting position and stalked through the woods. She found her target. The mouse was busy nibbling on a seed and luckily there was no breeze to expose her scent. Alice stalked closer to the target until she was hovering around it. The mouse dropped its seed and let out a tiny squeak. It was about to run but the she-cat was too swift and gave the finishing blow by lashing her claws into the mouse's back. The mouse went limp and was dead.
Alice smiled triumphantly and picked the mouse up with her jaw. She wanted to eat the mouse in a quiet and sunny place. She started looking around for some boulder in the sun but she didn't notice there was a tree root in front of her. Alice tripped over the tree root and rolled about five fox-lengths ahead. Her rolling stomped when she bumped into something and looked up. She saw it was a kit that was no more than five months old. Alice stood up and shook her pelt. The mouse was still in her jaws and she said but with a muffled voice. "I'em so sowy. Ave joo okayz?" ("I'm so sorry. Are you okay?") Then Alice noticed that the mouse was still in her jaw and put it down next to her. "Sorry for the muffled voice. What I meant to say was, I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Did I hurt you in any way?" She told her.

Sky felt something crash into her, making her yowl in shock. She quickly sat up, shaking her white pelt. She looked up at the voice, feeling rage sear through her. "I-I'm fine," she muttered, shaking her pelt once more to get rid of the dirt in her fur. She stood up in an almost cross way, but a seething pain in her front paw made her wince, and she sat back down. She lifted her paw, examining it carefully. There was a thorn lodged deep into her pad. Only the base of it was visible. Sky twitched her ears in irritation. "Stupid thorn," she muttered angrily, heading to the thorn. She started at it, trying to grasp it.

Alice sort of flinched when she heard the young she-cat mutter that she was fine in an angry voice. She blinked confusingly when suddenly Sky stood up then sat back down. She saw her lift a paw and saw a thorn in it. Alice's eyes widened and she told Sky. "Here, let me help you take that thorn out." Without waiting for Sky's reply, she quickly took Sky's paw and secured her grip onto the thorn. Then she tugged at it until it finally came off.
She knew that Sky might yowl so she quickly spat the thorn out and turned. Then she dashed towards a nearby tree. Alice saw some cobwebs and grinned. She quickly took some using her tail and looked around for some certain leaves. She saw the leaves she was looking for and quickly dashed towards it. She took a few dock leaves with her mouth and ran back to Sky. Alice then chewed the dock leaves into a poultice and spat it out onto her paw. Then she quickly licked it onto Sky's paw where it was bleeding a little from the thorn. Then she quickly mended the cobwebs onto her paw which eventually made the bleeding stop. She spat the remaining of the dock leaves out and rubbed the remaining cobwebs onto the ground to get it off. Then Alice turned her gaze back at Sky and smiled. "How does your paw feel now? Try to not put pressure on it. It'll hurt if you do." She told her. Then she remembered to tell her something and smiled again. "Hello there. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Alice and I live in these woods. What's your name?" Alice said to her.

The sun was warming the grounds and grass beneath her paws, a welcoming sensation to a semi-young she~cat. Her pelt was silver and gold like that of the moon and sun, meeting each other almost in the middle of her head but jumbled further down toward her tail, with a white underbelly. With golden eyes, she blinked them once as Eclipse looked up toward the canopy of the trees. It was strange, the vision she had. Why did she get a sort of daydream like that? She would have shook it off as to just being in the sun, but her pelt still felt cold, and she closed her eyes as she thought on it again...
The stars were visible in the sky, and the sound of flowing water sounded pure in her ears as she sat in the middle of a clearing. A flash of movement caught her eye and she quickly looked up to see a strange sight; starry cats, of six cats of choosing, were coming down from the sky and landing at the edge of the clearing. Without even seeing Eclipse, they turned and started off in the direction of the sound of a river. Feeling the impulse to follow, the she~cat got to her paws and quickly followed.
When she reached the river's shore, Eclipse realized that these cats weren't leaving pawprints or a scent trail for her to follow. Where had they gone? Looking up and down the river, she then started alongside it, following the currents. Heart thudding lightly, she suddenly was on a rock that was slippery, making her slide into the river's water. 'I must get out of the water!' she thought as she tried to swim for the shore. What was once calm was raging around her, and she went under the surface.

Eyes open, Eclipse realized that while she was being dragged further down, a starry cat was looking down at her through the water. She desperately wanted to yell for the cat to help, but she was afraid of the water drowning her. 'Please help me Misty!' Eclipse silently called for her deceased mother, thinking of no one else. It seemed to be enough, for someone suddenly grabbed the back of her scruff with teeth and hauled her out of the water. Panting, the she~cat didn't move for a long time, shaking from the cold and fear. A warm and familiar tongue licked vigerously along her shoulder, drying her off enough to warm her. But before Eclipse could say thanks to her rescuer, the starry cat disappeared with a smile, only an echoing voice speaking in the wind;
"At the sixth moon of new leaf, the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake. The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River, or destroy their path for evil's sake."
The images that came with it was haunted with the clearing she suddenly appeared in tearing, grass stained with red as howls of distant cats filling her ears. Eclipse stared in fear of the ground as it seemed to spread, and she moved to cover her ears of the horrible sounds and the quaking beneath her paws...
"Eclipse?" The cat snapped her eyes open to see her canine friend and companion, Teal'c, staring down at her with a quizzing look. Giving him a purr, the she~cat slowly stood up and stretched, rubbing her jaw against his leg. "I'm alright, I was just thinking," she said as she looked up at her large friend. They were near the edge of the forest, far from home.Uhh, they seem to have gotten rid of white text so until further notice in regards to the prophecy part: *Madagascar rip-off* You didn't see anything . . .

Sky looked at Alice in confusion as she dressed her wound. When she asked of her named, she sighed, looking down at her paw. "I'm Sky," she meowed. Her paw stung a little, but not enough to worry about. "And my paw's fine. Just stings a little," she told the she-cat gruffly.

~Lindra~ Lindra woke up in her hollowed out tree den, next to Spunky her fox friend. The air outside smelled like another good day. She prodded Spunky in the side. "Come you lazy furball get up," she said playfully. Spunky rolled over obviously awake, but trying to annoy Lindra. Lindra rolled her eyes with a smile and jumped on top of the fox. "Wake up!" she shouted.
~Spunky~ Spunky opened one eye and saw Lindra on top of her. She suddenly jumped up and flipped Lindra out of the den. "Uh oh," Spunky said rushing out of the den. "Lindra are you okay? Oh please tell me you're okay," she said. Lindra laid there and then opened one eye and hopped up. "Don't worry Spunky I'm fine and that was actually kinda fun," she said with a smile. Spunky swished her fluffy tail back and forth in happiness.

Alice blinked and grinned. Then she giggled and said. "That's good. But you never know when it gets infected, if not treated properly. I just wasn't taking any risks. I would be guilty if I made a young cat like you get infected because of a thorn in your pad." Then she blinked and smiled warmly at Sky.

~Kimi~ Kimi padded through the forest. She looekd back at her tired kits Tiko and Mary. The poor little things had to get up early because of Cassie's dream. But I know its not her fault, Kimi thought conitnuing on. "Mama why do we have to go to the woods so early in the morning," Mary whined. "Yeah it seems mousebrained to me," Tiko added. Kimi turned around and faced. "Well don't you guys want to see Spunky and Lindra. Last I checked you haven't seen them in like two months," she said. "Well thats because Cassie's been to fat and lazy to go anywhere," Mary said with a giggle. Tiko joined in the giggling but was suddenly stopped by Kimi. "That's enough you two. Cassie is going through a rough time right now. So no jokes. We're almost there," she said turning back around leading the kits deeper into the forest.
~Cassie~ Cassie smiled at her niece's comment. She was too young to know that she would soon have cousins,b ut it didn't hurt her one bit to hear her say she was fat and lazy. Since it was actually true... partly. Cassie continued walking in the back making sure the kits weren't attacked by anything since the woods are a very dangerous place. She finally spotted Lindra and Spunky's den. And she found the two outside chatting as usual. "Good morning Spunky! Good morning Lindra!" Cassie called out.
~Lindra~ Lindra turned to the four cats. "Oh my. Well I haven't seen you four in a while. And dear me Cassie your getting bigger everyday, sooner or later you'll just float away," she teased. Cassie smiled. "Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well hey Kimi and I were wondering if Spunky could watch Tiko and Mary," she said. Lindra cocked her head to one side. "Why is that? I mean I'm sure Spunky would love to but for what reason?" she asked. Lindra had known Kimi and Cassie since they were kits and she has never seen Cassie so serious. "Well I was going to tell you too. I had a weird dream and I think both of you should know without the kits finding out and asking a bunch of questions," Cassie said. Lindra nodded. "Alright that makes sense," she said. "Spunky watch the kits for a few minutes we'll be back soon." Lindra nudged the kits into the tree as Spunky went inside to watch them. She turnes to Kimi and Cassie and began leading them throught he woods to a place she knew would be quiet and calm enough to hear what Cassie had to say.

"What was dream about?" "Oh, don't about it Teal'c. I've been seeing more dreams after that fire incident," Eclipse said to her canine friend. Teal'c was an Australian shepherd, so natually he was a big dog, and with a black coat with his underbelly white, he stood out from the forest. His speech was broken in language when he talks to other cats, but otherwise, he was silent. Both Eclipse and Teal'c were laying side-by-side in a quiet part of the forest, the she~cat grooming her front paws as the dog watched with one brown eye. "Seemed bad, why you no talk..?" he said in an almost whine. But then his nose lifted and caught a scent of other cats. Normally he would become skitish, but he recognized a few of those scents. "Friends nearby." "Linda and the others?" Eclipse knew most of the other cats around the neighborhood, and they knew her. Some liked the dog too, but not all.

~Cassie~ Cassie followed Lindra until she stopped in a small clearing. Not like the one by the forest but a very small one. Lindra turned aroudn to face the sisters. "Let us sit," she said in a somewhat serious tone. Cassie sat down ont he soft ground next to Kimi. Kimi turned and looked at her sister. "So what was this dream about?" she asked. Cassie sighed. She wasn't sure how to explain it, but she kenw she had to try. "Alright well it startes like this. I was sitting in a foggy area. Ther ground was dark so I didn't even knwo where I was. then this tabby she-cat came out fromt he fog and tells me I'm her successor and saying that I need to meet with 5 other cats and reform her clan Lightningclan," she explained. Lindra looked dumbfounded. "Absurd! Are you sure you didn't eat a bad mosue or something the night before?" she asked. Cassie looked up at Lindra. "I know what I saw! I don't know I have a feeling it might just be real too. I believe this is something I have to do," Cassie said bravely. If she were to be a furture leader she would need to be brave and speak out. Cassie turned and looked at Kimi who was near to tears. "No! How can you leave with kits on the way!? How can you leave me and Tiko and Mary and Lindra, Spunky and Haggie!? I can't let you go Cassie everyone would miss you too much!" she cried. Cassie stood up. "Thats Why I want you all to come with me," she said boldly. Lindra looked at Cassie with confusion. "So you want us to drag an elder, a fox, two kits, and a mother cat through the barren wilderness while you yourself is expecting her own kits. Cassie I don't know. This seems a little mosuebrained," Lindra said hoenstly. Cassie turned away. "Mousebrained it may be. But I have to try. This cat is counting on me," she said. Kimi stood up. "Well we're sisters so I'll stand by you the whole way and hopefully the other cats going could help with your kits and Tiko ad Mary. So I will come," she said. Cassie smiled and then looked at Lindra. Lindra sighed. "Oh you know I can't let you leave so I'm in too. And I already know Spunky will want to. She's been itching to get out of here ever since she ran away from her home," she said. Cassie smiled. "Thanks guys. But there was one more thing. The tabby she-cat also gave me this prophecy:
"At the sixth moon of new leaf, the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake. The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River, or destroy their path for evil's sake."

Padding alongside Teal'c long strides, Eclipse kept her ears and nose open. Smiling, she heard voices, but too faint to hear what they're saying. She didn't care if she couldn't hear the words, she recognized the voices to Cassie, her sister Kimi, and someone else she'll know as Linda, who hangs out with her fox friend. Apparently forgetting the vision she had seen, she wondered if she could join them this time; the three occasionally liked to sit alone in the forest, because of their close connections to one another. But she'll know soon enough if they want to be alone. So tail wavering, she slowled her approach and started to enter the clearing.
Her paws froze in mid-step as she suddenly heard the words spoke out loud by Cassie, the only thing she heard from their whole conversation. How..? Where did she hear that? Hearing the prophecy brought back the vision of the starry cats walking along a great river and then watching the ground opening up before her. In all aspects, she looked like she had seen a ghost. "You heard those words too..?" she said in an almost-awe voice.

~Cassie~ Cassie turned and saw Eclipse. She was in shock. How much of the conversation had she heard. "Yes, but where did you hear it? Which clan leader visited you?" Cassie asked. She hoped Eclipse wasn't playing a joke on her. But if Eclipse was visited by another leader of another clan then maybe they could help each ther find the other four.
