This may be rather stupid asking for advice for a problem like this , but maybe someone whose been through something similar could give some advice & sorry I had no idea what to title this .
So I met this guy a while ago , and at the time I had a boyfriend
but we just chilled at his place alot and started talking all the time and pretty much became really good friends . We started getting really close after awhile and a few times he told me he would date me but I was with another guy . That guy ( my boyfriend who is now my ex ) and I stopped talking as much and drifted so just decided it would be better if we saw other people . After we broke up me and this guy started hanging out alot more he took me to dinner and I stayed at his place a few nights ( we didnt have sex which is really good that we didnt ) and I started to really like this guy . Not long after I went to Hawaii for a week , and when I came back he was dating this other girl .. and they broke up for a bit and he called me and said he wanted to see me and not even a day later they were back together which was not much of a suprise I suppose . I dont mean to be shallow or anything but she is really not that attractive and I met her before they were dating and she seemed pretty normal barely talked and seemed rather shy so it was a huge suprise when I found out they were dating and I really cant get over it . So if anyones ever experienced this , would you say I should wait until he has stopped seeing her or just forget about him completely .. and is it possible that maybe he just realised me and him are better as friends É

while i havent been in this situation msyelf, i have watched plenty of girls get hurt by someone i once knew who was, like that guy, "girl-hungry"
Basically my advice starts with this:
It's a good trait you guys displayed not doing the dirty, however, your age factors into whether you shoulda gone out t begin with, and effect the rest of my advice:
If you're both Highschool or lower, forget him, he's just looking for a girl with good morals but a sway-able mind, and likely, he'll ditch her if she tells him she's done the dirty before.
if college or above, i'd say give it some time, but dont press it, great things come to those who wait, however if he finds a third girl int the time you give him, let him go, if he comes to you, then ease back into things...slower and steadier is always key to success
