Every Gen we have the "first route" Pokemon, generally a small bird, a small mammal and a bug (Pidgey, Ratata, caterpie/weedle; Hoot-Hoot, Sentret, Spinarak, etc)

What do you want to see for the new games?

So...My ideas:

Bird: Bald Eagle. Frikkin awesome (If we want it for a 3 stage like Pidgey)
Or something like a Water bird (like a Heron) for a 2 stage (Like Sparrow)

Mammal: Opposum. <3

Bug: Another Spider maybe? Or a Mosquito.

I feel like a Platypus would be better suited for a starter. It's WAY too awesome to just be the first route mammal.

Small Bird: Lark/Mockingbird Some sort of Songbird would be nice. Or a Heron.

Small Mammal: How about a rabbit that doesn't suck? OR a Normal type squirrel. Or a Chipmunk.

Bug: A Scorpion. Or a Centipede.

Anyway, a Platypus strikes me as a water/poison, and first route mammals are normal type.

Anyway, a Platypus strikes me as a water/poison, and first route mammals are normal type.

It should have fangs. I want a platypus with ******** fangs.

But yeah, that would make a better starter than anything.

I still say Possum. It should learn Self-Destruct and Sleep (So it can 'play dead')

I don't know about you guys, but I think they should make another bat Pokemon so Zubat isn't the ONLY thing you run into inside caves! And maybe another Geodude-variant... let's get some variety.

I also want a Koffing pre-evo. Name it Sneezing. (Weezing can PISS OFF >:C)
Another point, it was in the Fakemon section of Serebii, but I think Dark/Fighting/Psychic starters would be a nice refreshing change, considering we've had Fire/Water/Grass for 4 gens now.

I also want a Koffing pre-evo. Name it Sneezing. (Weezing can PISS OFF >:C)

I like the original Triangle, honestly. But some new secondary types would be nice. If I have to sit through one more Fire/Fighting starter, I will break something.
