The moon was high, and Vladik was wide awake. He watched a wolf sleep not far off. He couldn't tell the gender, but it had a blood red coat. There was another with it, a yellow one with what looked like a red coat. He didn't move a muscle, the wind just barely made his fur wave.
Ellie twitched her ears. She was being watched. She could feel it. She didn't move. She had no intention of letting this stalker know she was awake. They think they can sneak up on me? Ha! Ed might not have a clue, but I'm better than that!
Maggie was tired, but determined. She paused, and listened. nothing. It got away again, damn those mice. She whimpered. This would be funner with a playmate. Maggie perked up suddenly. She would go find one!

Urina was walking in the dead of night, weaving in and out of the trees. She always loved the night sky, with the full moon high and the stars twinkle above.
There is a lot of activity going on tonight. Question is..., which one seems more fun to me?
Not knowing what to do, She chose a random path.

Maggie sniffed about, occasionally stopping to leave her mark on a tree of other interesting landmark. She was totally concentrated on her sniffing, however, and didn't notice the pup not to far from her. Until, however, she bonked her head on a tree. "Owchies!" She whimpered and shook her head. Then the rustle of leaves caught her attention. She looked up, and pointed towards it. A pup! A playmate! She yipped happily and raced over "Fwend!" Because that was just the Maggie way.

Urina walked about going towards where she thought she sense a life.
Thought was the word.
She thought she was going in the right direction until she heard the word "Fwend".
She turned around and froze on the spot with the on-coming Pup.

Maggie dashed up to the pup, barreling full speed. Any onlooker would've though she was going to crash into the unfortunate pup, but she stopped an inch away from her nose. Maggie panted happily. "Fwend! I Maaaaaggie! Maggie! Maggie! Maggie!" She bounced up and down and down and ran in circles. The late night had no effect on her energy level... At all.

Urina looked in shocked as she saw the pup stop and inch away from her. Her face then turned slowly into a smile and Urina, too, was waggin her tail.
"Hi. My name is Urina."

Maggie beamed, but then stopped, and her tail started to wag slowly. Urnia was too long and hard for her to pronounce or remember. Maggie though for a moment, and wiggled her rump happily "Pee! I Maaaaggie! Pway wif Maggie?" She grinned, quite happy with herself.
(Maggie has spoken! the nickname has been given xD)

Urina frowned on the nickname her new friend gave her. "Why pee? Why not star? That is what my given name means."
Urina shook her head. "Anyway. What do you have in mind?"

"Pee." Maggie stuck out her lip firmly. "Pee! Meet Ellie and Little big brother!" She runs around Urina and starts dashing into the trees. "C'mon!"

Maggie jumped through the woods happily, bouncing and weaving in between trees. Occasionally, she'd spot a mouse or squirrel and chase it, barking loudly and quickly. But she'd quickly give up, remember what she was doing, and go back on track. And in no time (In Maggie's mind) she was once again lightening up the world of Ellie and Ed.
"Ellie! And little big brother!"
Ellie blinked her eyes open, and stared flatly at Maggie. God, she was annoying. But, still cute enough to be tolerable. She smiled lazily, though not entirely honestly, and noticed the small pup with Maggie. Ellie sighed, and her lip twitched. She had talked about this with Maggie before- Bringing home random strangers was a baaaad idea. Either way, it was here now. The wolf was just a pup, really. What could it do? Ellie lifted her head, and flopped her tail against the ground. "I'm Ellie. You are...?" She tipped her head, smiling lightly at the pup.

Urina followed Maggie and then she saw where she was taking her. She followed and then she heard the female one, named Ellie, ask for her name.
Urina sat down on the ground, her tails flapping.
"My name is Urina. It's nice to meet you."
Urina, since her birth, was taught polite manners. Even if she didn't feel like using them at the mean time.

"Urina?" Ellie blinked, and chuckled lightly. "What kind of unfortunate nickname did Maggie give you?" That dog would probably give her the name "Planet" or if she was feeling especially odd, "Butt" or something like that. Yeah, this was gonna be good.
