The teacher told the kids to take a seat, but not before Nights took out her dagger.

Ash ran into the classroom.
"Sorry that I'm late. I just arrived at the school a while ago and kind of got lost."
Ash took a seat. There was a girl standing with a dagger and other kids who looked mad/confused. What was going on?

The teacher looked at Ash, she allowed the excuse to pass since it was the first day.
Nights chuckled, "If your wondering, powers aren't allowed." She told the new girl

Ash was confused now. Powers? Kids here had powers? No wonder why everyone else was mad or confused.

Nights sighed, she wondered what the girl was thinking, it drove her crazy now when she had an empty mind without other people's thoughts.
"Now everyone go to the wall." The teacher pointed to the back wall, "and pick your weapon."

Ash couldn't stop thinking about powers. Did she have any? If she did, what were they? She pushed those thoughts aside for now and walked over to the back wall. She examined all of the weapons. She picked up an odd looking sword. It had weird carvings in it and a blue-ish shine to it. The handle had interesting symbols in it and was comfortable to hold. She decided on using it. She turned around and waited for the teacher's next instructions.

Nights gracefully went back over and grabbed a whip. She tested in her hands first to see if it were the right weight. She nodded and went back to her seat.
With a wave of her hand she made the room transform shape. Now it looked like a large arena. "Find a partner, and see's who wins."
