Love was nothing in the end.

Yes, a word given meaning by the people who wanted to think someone special was out there for them. Ignorant people. Ryu had gone to seek the one he thought he had love with in his time of need. The fight with his father was the worst they had ever had and he couldn't stand- No. Not his father. Parysh wasn't his father. He was simply his uncle. Parysh had taken him in because his mother didn't ******** want him and hadn't told him until their fight. He had aimed to hurt Ryu. Fathers didn't do that. How.. How could he? The boy found his way in the dark, nothing but clothes on his back and a bag slung over his shoulder to his name and when he found that door he was met with that familiar face. Yato. His lover.

Right? Boyfriend? The title didn't matter. What did was how the man had turned him away, telling him that he had to go back to his father. Alright, maybe he didn't turn him away per se. No. the older man let him in and he held the crying boy, let Ryu tell him what was going on- though Ryu said nothing about his dad knowing about their relationship. Of sorts. Once he had finished, Yato simply told him that him and his dad could talk it out. How like an adult to not ******** understand. Though, not wanting to fight with Yato, Ryu nodded and pretended to go along with it and then told the man he'd just head home then. That, no, he didn't need Yato to accompany him back. And did he go back? Not on your life. Ryu ran the minute Yato went back inside. He didn't really have a destination, but he had to get out of there.

He didn't care to where.

The more he walked, the more lost he became, being that he didn't really get around. Ryu also figured the dressed like e was, it might be easier to see him if they were looking for them. If he knew Yato and Parysh well enough.. Parysh would have gone to Yato's house, demanding to have Ryu back and Yato would have explained that he had gone home. When it was known by both that Ryu wasn't anywhere to be known, they would set aside whatever anger there was to work together in finding the boy. So Ryu hid in an alley and stripped, digging in his bag and extracting a dress he'd sewn a while back. He pulled that over his shoulders and then put the other clothes in the bag before going on his way again.

After falling asleep at a bus stop, he decided it'd be best to find his mom and see why she gave him away. Or well.. Why she didn't want him.
