I've been doin' this style for quite a while, now and have my second degree in it. I'm getting ready to complete my certification with the federation Kabu-Kan. You can check out their website at http://cranekarate.com/

Aside from Kobu-Kan, I'm also affiliated with another Shorin-Ryu group called S.M.O.K.A. I don't really know their site, but I think they're in Maryland xD
Anyways, there's either 3 or 4 different Shorin-Ryu lineages. I only truly know two: Matumora (the first one) and Yamashita. I've done a seminar with Yamashita, himself and I wasn't very impressed with the style itself and the way he presented himself. At any rate, Shorin-Ryu is an Okinawan style of Karate. When Yamashita Presented his techniques and defense applications and such, it didn't look Okinawan in the least bit. Only Japanese. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed xD [That was a rant, by the way]

i was gonna join this style and still have the chance ,i just got yellow belt in kyokushin and i was gonna get orange but i moved ,i wonder what the concept in this still,cuz i did shiti ryu and i found it boring.
