"Often does Alcyone [the sea-nesting kingfisher] deserted make lament for her wave-wandering, spray-drenched home, when savage Auster [Notos the South Wind] and envious Thetis have scattered her darlings and their shivering nests."
Thetis; sea nymph and goddess of the sea

Thetis was a daughter of Nereus and Doris, Titans of the sea. She was the mother of the hero Achilles, and was also the one who caught Hephaestus his forging skills. Her and Eurynome found him as a child, after he fell from Olympus into the crashing water. Being kind souls, the two saved the god, and taught him the forging craft, so that he could use it to impress the gods on Olympus.
Her cabin is filled with water and sparkling jewels given by the god of forge in gratitude. The outside is a sparkling blue, a pearl hanging from the top, the name Thetis written in a white. The linens are a soft aquamarine, and made of a soft silk. Through the cabin a small river divides through, symbolizing the hero son of the nymph.
