As wicked as

Just curiously.

I'm getting a tattoo later and it made me wonder if any of you have any poems or lines you hold dear enough to do something like that.

Mine comes from Robert Frost.

"But I have promises to keep
and miles to go before I sleep"

A few others are

" I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. "

"So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay."

"Not yesterday I learned to know
The love of bare November days"

also by Robert Frost

anything could be.

Wow, those are, like all of my favorite quotes. Only one I'd like to add:

"No man is an island entire of itself" by John Donne

well when i get a tattoo finally it was actually going to be a paw print on my upper arm, but i like the first stanza of my favorite poem best -

"Childhood is not from birth to a certain age and at a certain age
The child is grown, and puts away childish things.
Childhood is the kingdom where nobody dies."

the title is also the last line in that and is by Edna St. Vincent Millay. while i'm here i'd like to put my senior english teacher's favorite poetry line too, though the poem it's from and the author escape me

"Do I dare disturb the universe?"
