I tend to go by my gut instincts and when it's a pokemon which I know I beat with it's weakness then I kick a** that way! X3

biggrin Strategy? Magikarp, Magikarp, Magikarp, Magikarp, Magikarp, Magikarp AND THAT'S IT. XD
But, no, seriously, I aim for weaknesses. wink Been playing Pokemon since I first bought Blue ( which I soon hid in the back of my closet, told my dad I lost it, and my Gameboy >not even a GB Color XD< so he bought me Pokemon Yellow and a Gameboy color for my birthday~ ;D ). I usually use attacks. I have pokemon of every type I can manage, then level my pokemon to unholy numbers, then teach 'em super-special-awesome attacks that usually turn out to be 1-hit-KO's. X3 While everyone else is spending their precious time using 'Defense Curl' (yeah, on WI-FI like everyone I battle does that. rolleyes ) So I'll be like, "LUSTER PURGE"! >;D And then they die and become angryyyyy. XD

I like to have Pokemon with attacks that'd be able to beat an opposing Pokemon with a type advantage. I just got my Pikachu with the move Surf [named her Splash ;P] and I'm so excited, I almost can't wait to battle a groud or rock type with it! x3

Strategy? I use gimmicks. Either hammer an opponent with a single type of pokemon(Six Starmie. It's death with sixty legs), or make the pokemon itself a gimmick. Such as spamming defense order. Or using ADD Swellow. Or spamming acupressure. Such a lulzy move. Or double team and toxic. Beating the new Mewtwo with a level 37 Umbreon might not be difficult, but still.

I teach my Pokemon moves that most other Trainers normally wouldn't expect. Like my Pikachu that knows Fly, I freakin' love that Pikachu. <3 I'm mainly an offensive Trainer, but I like using Double Team and Toxic often, too.

I like speed and power, sweepers are my fave, but I keep a tank or two, though my tanks are not that effective and my umb does do stat effects, toxic and 2x team all the way.

I've been playing pokemon since red, blue and yellow came out. that was, what, 1996? i'm almost 20 freaking years old (in April of 2011). i go for weaknesses and i can kick a**. trust me when i say i'm no stranger to pokemon. and i also use the fly-surf combo, or the fly/levitate- magnitude combo as well, and go from weakest to strongest for example: lv. 12, lv. 14, lv. 37, lv. 49, lv. 67, lv. 72
