Something had come over Kally, and she had found herself alone and surrounded by a thick aura of darkness, one she had not really found herself in, ever. Sitting there in that room, she searched for the girl who had saved her a**, only to be rewarded with nothing but the darkness and its pungent allure. Goosebumps raised up and down her body, causing the girl to hug herself. What had happened exactly? It was as if she had been put to sleep only to awaken many years later. Getting to her feet, the girl summoned her staff, the opal at the end giving off a dim purple glow as she fed some of her magic into it. Waving the wand around her, she tried to get a better assessment of the situation, only to be rewarded by a sharp and ever so familiar presence. The sound of darkness portals opening up around her caused Kally to wince. The heartless were coming out with such determination. If the whole castle was like this, she was going to need to do something stronger than duking it out with the heartless. Channeling energy into her staff, the opal began to glow, white, something that would seem impossible coming off of a black stone. "Stop!"She said aloud, her magic erupting from the tip of her staff. It spread around the room and outside of the hallway, following the strip all the towards the door. Taking the chance she had now given herself, Kally fled from the room and into the hallway. As she ran past, the heartless were frozen in place, time stopped around everything and everyone as she made her escape.[exit]
