The hill is probably the most important place at camp. The hill is the boundary of camp, Thalia's pine guarding the campers.

Kina marched up to the hill, sad and lonely. She laid down under the tree and tried to find the stars, her comfort.

I tried to grasp the fact that the gods of mount olympus were real. The idea seemed far from real. I just lost my brother to the Furies, fought monster after monster, and was told that the gods were real. It didn't seem possible, like this was all a dream.
