The first gem of Christmas was curled up under a tree on a grassy hill, his pear was tucked safely by his belly, as he stared out at the surrounding areas. Parun had been there for a while now, not saying anything and barely moving, just watching. It was a nice day to be doing it though, the sky was mostly clear, with a fluffy cloud here and there. The sun smiled down on the world, and a cool breeze whistled through the branched above.

Pouncing and bounding she giggled as she ran through the grass. Circling the male beside her she occasionally grabbed hold of the swan colored male's tail and gave it a small tug only to get the occasional glare as she bolted off giggling all the more. The golden rings that adorned her glinted and shimmered in the sun as she moved, making her way toward the hill.Following the always giddy over grown child of a golden female, he sighed some. She never seemed to have any sort of seriousness about her. As occasionally playful he could be, he didn't see why she had to take it to such extents. Casting glares at her for he childish behaviors, he sighed heavily. Sirius as he was, he wasn't exactly cross with her. it was a nice day after all. Looking to the sky, he couldn't help but smile. Barely a cloud in sight and none of them were storm clouds.

The relaxed male saw the other two from awhile away, and after a little bit of watching the two, he decided to greet them, they were cousins of a sort, being fellow gems of Christmas. He took his time though, standing and giving a big stretch, then grabbing his pear before he began moving at a relaxed pace to intercept them.
As he reached them he grinned, putting down the pear, "Hello!" he greeted them enthusiastically.

She nearly bumped into the other male as she was looking back and laughing at her companion. Stopping just in time to keep from knocking him over, she gave the new gem a sheepish grin. "Hi! Sorry.. I didn't mean to almost run you over. I'm Laurana.. and that's Ren. He doesn't bite" She giggled some. and skipped about and around him.
With a heavy sigh, he shook his head at the female, looking as though he were about to scold her but stopping before he could even start. It wouldn't do any good any way she'd giggle and run off saying he was just a stick in the mud. Turning his attention to the other male, he gave a friendly smile and nod. "Hello. I'm Renegade, though she refers to me as Ren most the time."

The pear-obsessed of the twelve shrugged off the female's apology, "I got in your path, so no need to say sorry!" He responded with a grin, "I'm Parun, I don't bite either." His eyes followed the silly yellow female before shifting to his fellow male as the swan spoke.
"Nice ta meet ya, I'm Parun, as I told her, you're the swans and the rings of that one song right?! I'm the partridge, and this is my pear!" he nudged said pear mentioned. "I also have a friend called Pear, well that's not his real name but it's what I call him, I like him. Oh can I call you Ren too, Ren- Renuh- Renuhgay? No... Renagade?"

Laurana giggled lightly once more, amused at the trouble the other was having with Ren's name. "It's nice meeting you Parun." She beamed lightly. FInally she settled to sit beside Ren, watching Parun a moment. He seemed friendly enough.
Ren chuckled lightly. It was an almost strange sound from the more uptight and dignified male, on that warranted a side glance of worry from Laurana. "Ren's fine..." He nodded. He'd never thought it difficult to pronounce his name.. but apparently to some it was strange to wrap the words around.
