CURRENT OPERATIONS

This thread is to list all current operations and status of PalCorp involvement.

Remember the Hood

Pallas has been tasked with the destruction of the Crokian Air Force base that is launching aircraft against the UGMF forces.

The carrier has been deployed from the Catharian Ocean, south of where all the action is taking place. Caesar and Ra Flights have been withdrawn from training operations to take part.

The plan in place is to insert a SWORD Security Team via Osprey to inflitrate and begin target acquisition and perform recon. SWORD will also attempt to identify and eliminate AA before Caesar and Ra flights begin bombing runs to disrupt Crok air operations.

The SWORD Osprey has been launched and is en-route to target. There is only one SecTeam aboard who will insert on foot to the target and do their thing from there. Any SWORD operators make your entrance aboard the Osprey. UPDATE: The Osprey has landed, SecTeam has been deployed. The SecTeam is approx 1-2 miles from the airbase itself, with a small thickest and hill between the DZ and the airbase. This was done to ensure the team landed with some cover as to avoid being attacked as soon as they landed.
For reference, this is the airbase we are attacking. Domna Fighter Base. There are a number of portable AA rigs running about and mainly stored in the garrison to the south of the airbase. This will be high priority for SWORD members on the ground.
Try to keep posts brief as this is mainly a naval/air force operation.

Caesar and Ra Flights have been briefed and are currently on the flight deck prepping for takeoff. POMMEL pilots should make their entrance on the flight deck making pre-flight checks and such.

Blood Stone

The Analisian Countess has requested a SWORD Security Detachment to assist guarding the castle in their capital city - Luminasince Silva.

I will be posting our arrival later today when I get a chance. The lead SecTeam is on the ground with the BloodHawk and remainder Ospreys inbound.

We will be sending in a 2 SWORD Task Forces (2x 5x Security Teams - approx 50 operators) along with some additional equipment (Heavy MGs, etc) to do the job. Insertion will be via Ospreys launched from the Aruleius, teams will fast rope outside the front gates of the city and be directed to the castle from there.
A lead team will be inserted by MH-6 "Little Bird" which will include our main RPCs. This will be so the SWORD leaders can survey the castle and best work defensive positions. Hoping to get Lily to pilot the MH-6, then we can hopefully store the chopper within the city walls so it's there when we need it. The chopper will land in the rear courtyard of the castle. The remainder of the Task Forces (TF 343 and TF 344) will still insert via Osprey - fast roping into the same courtyard.

Lily is on leave at present so we'll just ghost the chopper inbound to our destination. I'll give it another post before we actually land so if any other SWORD members want to arrive on the Little Bird they can do so.

As part of our new weapons trial, all operators will be using the SIMR Barton Assault Rifle.

An additional objective has come to us - we will be leaving the Palace temporarily to mount a helo based raid on a Mattonian cargo ship and holding it until the Navy arrives to allow the army to launch tanks onto the port. More details to come.

UPDATE: Enemy forces have breeched the castle and are moving in. Objective unknown. Inbound aircraft have arrived to deploy more SWORD members. One Osprey will be dropping Operators off in the rear courtyard, the other on the upper level closer to the Countess' chamber. SecTeam Alpha is making it's way into the castle to engage the enemy.

As part of our new weapons trial, all operators will be using the XM-19A1 Challenger Tactical Rifle.

Dies Irae: Empire Rising II

SWORD Operatives are currently aiding Skyburn in sabotaging the Charybdis in Durem Harbor. The Operatives on-board the vessel will disable the majority of the ships power using C4 and their disguises as Operational Reactor Safety personnel. They shall gain access to vital circuit breakers and electricity panels using their clearance. When the C4 is expected to detonate, they shall meet up in the ASDS level of the ship, and escape in one of the subs in the level.
