☆ I discovered that I am only $100 away from being able to afford a Wireless Wacom Intuos4.
I've been wanting a tablet for AGES.
Other things just get in the way whenever I seem to have the money to go towards one.
I excitedly told my parents I was close to getting something I've been wanting for years now, and they basically told me no.
If they were buying it, I'd understand.
But it's my ******** money.
My dad said "You're going to be going to college and you are going to need all the money you can get. Your dumb computer art can wait".
That would make sense...if I weren't planning on going to an Art school. neutral
Where I want to work with Graphics and/or Game design.
I don't even know anymore.
Whatever.

Well, if you or a scholorship is paying for college, just buy one, and flip them the finger as you ride into the sunset with your new tablet.

My parents have lightened up a little. My mom actually was talking about graduation and she was like "Well I already know what you want as a present...but where do you wanna go?"
So it's actually a possibility.

i know what you mean.
my parents told me that when i said i wanted to buy a laptop for myself, cause my comp right now is a little b***h.
they were like "yeah you don't need one ok? we'll buy you one when you go to uni"
the best you can do is to try and butter them up and THEN buy it yourself. don't just go out and buy it.
