Before you my life was rainbows
Then you came and smashed it
my life is in ruins
my dreams are crushed
my soul is crushed
you left me alone
with no one to care
and as for my rainbow of a life....
you smashed it too
(worst poem I have ever wrote but I thought you guys can give me some pointers)

um...write more and be a bit descriptive in your poems. Try not to use one word too many times and maybe be a little deeper. I write way too many poems so...otherwise, good.
