Will was sitting at his desk, flipping through the files of his experiments. So far the only one he was really proud of is Amilia. It's not just the fact that she is his daughter but she did not die after the experiment like her mother did. It's outstanding how well she's been. Though he will need to keep an eye on her, who knows when she'll start breaking down.

"Father, I'm sorry I'm late." Amilia entered the room and closed the door silently. "All is well, I see you've met new friends." Will saw the surprised look on her face and laughed. "I don't miss a thing in this institution. It's wonderful that you are finally making friends. I know how hard it is to have your father be hated. You know you can come to me for anything right?" Amilia smiled and nodded. "I know father." She walked up to him and hugged him tightly. "As a reward you get to take a break from the monthly check-ups today." Amilia beamed with excitement, she said a thank you and turned to run out when Will stopped her. "Just promise me that you will eat a hearty meal first." Amilia smiled and ran to the dining hall.

The room was filled with an eerie silence. Amilia sat in front of her father's desk, chewing on her bottom lip looking just as nervous and scared as a lost puppy. Will was sitting at his desk, his face in his hands. None of them spoke for a while. He did not move at all which made Amilia worried. She knew that this was killing him. She got up and patted his shoulder affectionately. "I'll go meet up with my friends." She gave him a tight hug before she left.
